Winter Leagues / 12/08 Water Works Glow... 10 inches and 10 degrees
« on: December 08, 2005, 10:59:38 PM »
Eight golfers and one spectator/pad raker managed 11 holes in 2 1/2 hours on a cold clear night at the park. Had to compete with the sleds on hole one but mostly 10" of virgin snow to play in. Calm winds made conditions quite tolerable.

Lost discs - 2 (both lost when the lights fell off)
Fall downs - 13

Brant P- Mark Morales  0  $20
Mike D - TJ Ring  0  $20
Jack Lowe - David Zentz  +2
Ted Keith - Jamie Barry (on skis)  +3

Some years we have had a Holloween tournament the weekend of the time change to kick off the glow league season at Water Works.

No one had the time or energy to put it together this year.

We play random glow doubles at Water Works every Thursday at 6 all winter.

There is a great doubles league Saturdays Down Under at 12:30 and a winter league in Olathe as well.

Water Works / Water Works league standings 9/8/05
« on: September 23, 2005, 11:34:42 AM »
Tops in each division for those with at least 5 weeks play (4 for women as they only recently started joining us Water Works). The scores shown are the average of players best 10 rounds. There have been 20 weeks of scores so far. Four of us have been there for 18 and Mr. Paul Eklund has been there 19 of 20 weeks. He was away at some tournament thing on the shores of Lake Superior the week he missed.

The overall league average for 580 rounds is 56.9.

After looking over the scores, the low round for the year to date appears to be a 41 by Laron (Who did you think) Harris.

As of 9/22 the ace pool is at $494.
