I feel that Chappy called the Adv. @ Rosedale in perfect time. The storm rolled in so quick..
I agree, my card was able to get to our cars before the rain came and before I remember seeing any lightning.

Nice start to the tournament.

Sarah Hokom and CJ did a great job running a juniors clinic for all 4 attendees today.  They were both very patient and helpful with the kids.

By the way, I thought Swope looked awesome today, can't wait to get out there!

Great time again this year!

Pulled pork was delicious, baskets for CTPs unbelievable, and for a good cause.

Peter's post was my favorite in the thread until this one.

Must of been thinking of my company's tryout last year or maybe that is how I scored so well!  Hope to see you out there Sunday Dan.

We played a mando on #15 last year.  Is that in play this year?

I know 14 and 18 were short pads last year and I think 5 and 11 were as well.

You know it is a tough league when the guy who finished 9th out of 126 advanced golfers at the GBO can only place 10th out of 11 in his own league.  ;D

Looked like a good showing overall for the KC crew out there.  Congrats to everyone that finished in the money!

I am coaching soccer practice on Friday nights until May 3.  After the 3rd, Legacy League sounds like a great Friday evening activity.

Palmer, Legacy is no match for you and your Boss.

I wish I was headed to Emporia or Augusta right now.  Instead, I am stuck in a cubicle in Overland Park.  Horrible >:(

Good luck to everyone playing in the GBO!

Cooper, Sheet 35 of the Phill league post has Dan's compilation of all league scores from 2007 through 10/2011.  This is what Dan had for records:

Low round before course re-config: 39 on 3/9/2008 Leo DaPrato/Steve Dresser, 3/16/2008   Leo DaPrato/Otto Spiers, 3/16/2008 Heberto Villarreal/Cali

Low round after course re-config: 39 on 6/13/2010 Ken Franks/Mike Davis

Great work Dan for keeping all of those stats!

I agree with Mike and Jordan's assessment, practice YOUR technique and have confidence in what YOU do.

As far as technique I use:
1. Deep breath before putting
2. Smile and act like I am at home practicing my putt with my daughter.
3. Direct all energy to one chain link, let it go, and don't worry about the results.

No wind or with the wind, I picture dropping it in the basket like a free throw.

Against wind, I remember what Jake told me, put a little spin on it.

One video that I like is Paul McBeth's video in his apartment.  He taped the chains together and putted from about 30 ft.  What I thought was interesting is how he hardly needs the chains or even the pole.  He was just dropping them right into the basket.
