Very fun setup...thanks narin...
So many placements, pads and just little tweaks to the course will make it play different every wee

I agree, well done Narin...20 holes was just about the right amount.

Went well.  Eric Eastwood brought a shovel, so our group and everyone that followed enjoyed cleared pads!

I think there were 20 out for the round.

Brandon Elkins and Matt Ecklund tied for first with Lee and Jose at 57.

Jordan and Jake, Eastwood and Frank, and Matt and Jay all tied for 3rd at 60.  Jordan won the playoff with a 20 ft birdie putt on 1.

Highlight on our card was Brandon's 80 footer for 3 followed by Eastwood's 80 footer for 3 on 17.

Sean, there was a blue disc that came down into the woods right above 3's tee pad while we were teeing.  Frank even went in there and ID'd it (although I thought he said it was a Boss), but I guess he left it in there.

I think if you started near the bench on 3 and walked back, toward the road, into the small set of woods adjacent to the walking trail, you would find it.

Hmmm,

Lee and Jose
Jake and Jordan
Jay and Matt

Can we make a second division for those that can't throw 500 ft?  Feel like I'm bringing a knife to a gun fight.

Jordan, sounds like I have a partner then.  Tell him to get ready.

I haven't seen many responses on this thread.  Anyone planning on playing Big Blue next Saturday?

This was a lot of fun last year, met and played with EKolk and Bures and others.  Anyone know if Jay is going to put something together again this year?  If not, anyone interested in doing this on the 23rd?

Good article, thanks for posting.

I think I am going to bring a few discs into the office to place on my desk for conversation starters.

Even though I only played in one round, the challenge was the highlight of my discing year.  Hope I can qualify for all of the rounds this year!

From what I remember, the tee signs were not accurate on the front, like maybe a new pin placement had been added after the sign was made.  It was hot that day and I was in a hurry, so it could have just been the heat and the running I was doing to finish the front in under 20 minutes.

My thought is that on the front the line you take is important, but it seemed like it was more about knowing what row of cedars you wanted or didn't want your disc to land behind.  I tried to play a few on the back, but never found hole 10.
