A couple weeks ago, I stole the hanging basket from Cliff Drive. Hahahahaha, now I am taunting the entire KC disc golf community, as well as the cops. Taunt, taunt, taunt!
We're gonna hang you there for putting practice ;D

I'm embarrassed...thanks, especially to those who have done more for the sport and courses in KC than I'll ever be able to.  And really, its just giving back a little of what I've benefitted.

#13 right side of the fairway needs some serious attention.

Thanks to Danger for planting some shrubbery (rose of sharon) on #14 and #15.  Looks good!!
Carry some extra water to help them make it through the summer.  Pee doesn't count!!

Get your elves to work on the honeysuckle; theres non-minority opinion.  And BTW, if they don't get rid of the stumps, those trees/shrubs are going to come back with a vengance.

My main point is; as a disc golfer, (the main purpose of this forum) the tree removal doesn't improve the CD experience for me.
If, in fact, they were/are locust, locust trees are a legume which means it is a nitrogen fixing species (pretty good for the soil), but certainly not good for the concrete and iron environment.
As I stated, if there is a plan for the reservoir, that's good and I would support it, move some holes, whatever.  And my minority opinion is still that partially cut stumps sticking out here and there is FUUUUUGLY  ;D ;D

Got an idea!!  If you take that hyzer route and hit the tone pole, it's an automatic birdie.  If you miss, you pay your card $1 each.????

If I may be so bold...the fence w/o any trees is FUUUUGLY, especially the big ones.  Takes some doing to get a tree to survive, much more to get big.  Hopefully there's an awesome plan for the reservoir, cuz taking out ALL the trees damn sure didn't make the golfing better. :P

That's prolly it...right, Jamie?  That tone pole is a Max Hilgers special...I used it as temp for that proposed location on #3.  Might be cool to use for trying some new pin placements!!!

"Good points, E. Personally, I'm always weary of outsiders who stand to make money as a result of their advances. However, in this case, I think we should demand they field a mascot team of "DD Girls", whose sole job is to prance around the course serving Tallgrass Beer in string bikinis during these ten events. That would show tremendous commitment on their part, and would do wonders for the weariness."
And definitely not same ol, same ol ;D  ...Er, weariness, outsiders, money and advances...I'm a bit concerned about how things are going for you, buddy ;D ;D
