Jack you are the premier course designer, but Mikey should ask himself can I trust an Avalanche fan? They are both nice courses, Herman Hill is harder for me.

Because of the weather I'll hopefully be pouring concrete Sat. morning. But I could pick up some mulch in PHill Sat. late afternoon and bring it to good ol' Rosie early Sunday and toss it around.  (Rosie Tossin it around Ha Ha)

There are trees, there is openess. It is all hilly(not Water Works hilly). It lays out right now at a little over 7000 feet to the long baskets. No water.

I got lucky yesterday and helped Lee's Summit Parks pour eight tee pads for the new course.  The course layout looks nice, they are hoping to have it ready to play by spring.

I was wondering if anyone was going out for glow league tonight 12/12?  I was out there this afternoon and the pads are clear.  The fairways are icy but the ice basically breaks under your feet. How it will work in the dark I don't know.

I cleaned the pads off and put a little ice melt down yesterday. League was fun I managed to win my own five dollars.

I live on the east side of the city and agree that PC and WyCo would be a great first day for the ams.  Then two rounds on Sat. at the course that isn't being used that day by the pros(CliffDrive, Swope, Rosedale).  The final round (just 18 holes for the people coming from out of town) at Water Works.  We didn't get to play WW last year.  A question that keeps coming up, do you have to make a course long to make it hard?  Can't you put rope on a short course? Or should you put more rope on the longer courses.  These are honest questions from someone who is just getting to know the game.
