i must respectfully disagree.  we're developing a professional course and the wide open is most certainly a professional tournament.  we should have a design that reflects this and hopefully stay away from the images that provoke thoughts of drug use and hippies.  this is just my opinion.

Me and my buddys where wanting to know what all the mounds of dirt are for on 10 and at the tee pad of 7?

so when you spike your disc on it's side it'll roll down the hill, causing you to swear.

the mounds around 7's t-pad will be the long placement for hole 6.

the junior course was boring last summer.  i agree with that opinion.  the massive amounts of dirt brought in has helped change that.

the pour wont happen on the 9 hole for a while.  but it will happen.
the coldass weather has put progress back a bit.  pray for the temps to stay above freezing and no rain on the next couple of saturdays....

last summer and through this whole winter, Jim has been out there every saturday I was.  I believe he's been there EVERY saturday for the last several months and many times throughout the week.  and it's not just that he's there, he works on that land like it's his own.  he works his ass off in that park with no one around to thank him but the faegs.
sorry to derail this post but a lot of people dont know Jim and wont ever meet him and if you did he wouldn't take any credit anyway.  so i wanted to take this chance to recongnize Jim.  what he's done in that park as well as waterworks is worth more than gold to kansas city disc golf.

its empty.  cops found 2 revolvers and 2 shotguns.  nice.
i didn't see any discs.  its pretty freakin muddy in there and the cops didn't look too happy about doing that particular job.

To Will, Tim, Dan, Jim,  and all the course coordinators, and club members about Blue Valley Park. I will assist with arranging a work day, when i recieve a confirmation from the group, and the ACCENT workers coordinators. We can work on the needs that you guys suggest. What about the second or third Saturday in March?

On the draining of the Bales Lake in Blue Valley Park, the Police are actually looking for a weapon from the first killing in 2006 which took place on 16th and Topping, not a body. If  everyone  remembers on the West side of the lake on Topping it is a few feet to the water, and people think that they can hide crime evidence in a few feet or water. Also back in 2004 there was a body dropped off in the lake, and the actual killing did not happen in the park but elsewhere.
Will and Tim, i will call you guys soon and plan on being in the park next week to spread the soil around the tee areas which have been poured.
It's Looooking good.

fantastic.  Depending on when we pour Feburary may be ok too.  but Mark any time you can get help out there we'll be thankful.  Ask Dan to be sure but i'd bet second to third weekend in march would be fine.
