I played and had a great time with Josh(a gracious host) and John(visitor from Peoria).  Hope I can make it back a few times this year.  Family stuff keeps me busy.  I made a partial mud angel myself but saved my 3.  Given my girth the angel may look more like the stay pufft marshmallow man. 

I had a great time with you and John as well.  Though John is from Peoria, and you from Lawrence, I do hope that we get a round in together sometime.  Good luck with the knee and when your family moves down to KC.
 
Yeah, so, Utz and others who posted were correct, the course was considerably dry, which was contrary to most beliefs.  I do appreciate all that John T, Tracy and Jack L, as well as others, do for the upkeep and general well being of the courses around town.  I can only hope that I will be afforded time to come out and volunteer my raking and chain saw skills when a work day is scheduled.  Kudos to all of you who put out hours upon hours at WW, and keep it at a top notch level.  Imagine how much better it would be with retaining walls and all the necessities to cut back the erosion; WOW...!

On Craigslist, there is a post for free/used rr ties. The post was from Feb 19, but I'm sure that since the post is up they are still available. The curb in which they are on is just east of parkville, over by Lakeside middle school. I'm not too sure if these rr ties are what you are seeking out, but I thought I'd help. If I had a truck, or access to one, I would've done this myself. Sorry. If you would like, I could help loading them if you went to go snag them though.

And with the first pick, the Kansas city Chiefs draft, Gino Smith (insert boos)! We will then pick up Vick in FA. We will get a WR with the 33rd pick. The Chiefs will then again suck next year, possibly winning 4 games (we play Oakland twice, so it's not too much of a stretch). If this holds true, our much beloved Chiefs will be lucky enough to draft a D Lineman in the top ten in 2014.

I got to throw in my first Ram 'n' Salmon yesterday, and I wanna say thanks.  It was an awesome time, and maintained pretty darn well.  The weather was nearly perfect, but not a tropical island get away.  I just wanna let everyone know that if you haven't already, please check for ticks.  I had one on me this morning, and I picked one of someone during the first round.  I'm imaging that it was from the two new holes, but who knows where they came from.

One of the players, Jim Muzic, and his wife just had a baby today.  The likeliness of him playing this weekend is slim to none, so, what is the chance of his spot being replaced.  I don't see it being a problem, but for 'official' sake, I thought that I would inquire.

Your CTP attempts were astonishingly good under the circumstances. Lots of fun out there yesterday, some had more of it that others it seems.   

I couldn't believe you did so much drinking in so little time.  I'm really happy that you came out okay, and got to finish the 9 holes.  Hope the tylenol and orange juice helped a little bit w/your hangover today.

General Banter / old pike going private?

Okay, so I stopped on by Old Pike on Monday, and was slightly amused at the 'No Trespassing' sign stapled to the bench on hole one.  There was also a laminated sign stating that you have to have a member to old pike discgolf club ($50 a year) to throw there or you will be kicked out, and your car "will be towed at owners expense".  Seriously?  I was the only person there, so I was not concerned about getting towed, but is this a serious threat that is going to be backed by the prestigious Old Pike country club?  Just curious...
