Water Works / Re: Water Works League - 04/18/2013
« on: April 19, 2013, 09:23:09 PM »I played and had a great time with Josh(a gracious host) and John(visitor from Peoria). Hope I can make it back a few times this year. Family stuff keeps me busy. I made a partial mud angel myself but saved my 3. Given my girth the angel may look more like the stay pufft marshmallow man.I had a great time with you and John as well. Though John is from Peoria, and you from Lawrence, I do hope that we get a round in together sometime. Good luck with the knee and when your family moves down to KC.
Yeah, so, Utz and others who posted were correct, the course was considerably dry, which was contrary to most beliefs. I do appreciate all that John T, Tracy and Jack L, as well as others, do for the upkeep and general well being of the courses around town. I can only hope that I will be afforded time to come out and volunteer my raking and chain saw skills when a work day is scheduled. Kudos to all of you who put out hours upon hours at WW, and keep it at a top notch level. Imagine how much better it would be with retaining walls and all the necessities to cut back the erosion; WOW...!
