A fellow co-worker of mine who lives in PV sent me this link and thought I'd share.  Does anyone know who put this in the minds of PV parks and rec?  Or, is disc golf actually gaining traction in our parks and rec departments just by word of mouth?

http://pvpost.com/2013/05/21/disc-golf-course-new-playgrounds-among-pratical-improvements-suggested-by-pv-parks-committee-18489#respond

It looks to be just a little dinker course, but that's how it all begins!  I'll never forget my first days at William Yates!

P.S. Anyone who has a Facebook account should go to bat on these negative disc golf comments below the article...

why can I not picture 5 long?? I thought it had only one placement...

It's on the balcony of that house just to the right of 6 tee. You know, with the dogs that won't SHUT UP while you are trying to hit the left side gap in that tree.

Wait GAVE you? Feel free to GIVE me any CE plastic you are parting with coop.

Mr. "look at this tin can pile" Beckett Carduff, did an astronomical amount of work out there!

His lone work equated to what a handful of people did already... We all now Beckett is not one for personal accolades, but when you see him, shake his hand and say thanks...

Great to have him back in the Middle west!!

ps. Can't wait to see him participate against Jordan and Jake in a ROC distance contest....

 Heal up Hinck!!

Thanks for running such a smooth/audaciously fun league last night, Jack!

Just got rid of the crutches yesterday. In the walking boot only now. I'll be back soon enough boys ;)

Fallacious argumentation. Ha. Well on that note, I wish all who partake in the festival of throwing discs the best of fortune. However, I am sure the fine homosapien gentlemen and women from the eastern expanse will bring great pain to the gluteus maximus of any mortal who chooses to side with the western expanse by means of superior ability....in other words a good swift kick in the rear cuz we will take the trophy home again!!!!!!

Just waiting for a west sider to put a plug in here telling us to keep it in the fairway and it wouldn't be an issue. I agree, true statement. But the count is still 1-0. And the horse is already dead, quit beatin it!

Boy! If that isn't the definition of a Straw Man I don't know what is.

Can I get a t-shirt that says straw man on the back? Coop is not letting this one go. Fallacy he cries! FALLACY!

All in good fun! This is the song that never ends!

Cooper you can play that Arturo card all you want but the point is the victory wasn't a fluke. The east side won. Very decisively. Typical jayhawker making excuses. Quit worrying about the what ifs and move on to this year, focus on how to keep us from repeating. I can tell you now it won't be easy.

Can I get a retweet?

I'm not the caliber of Arturo, but if east side loses this year lets just write it off like Coop is doing cuz we are missing a player - who beat your best player last year head to head. All in good fun here boys, let the scores do the talking.

Man I'm pissed that I can't play. Tired of all the excuses. A loss is a loss Loomis. Call it what you want. Have no doubts that the east side will prove again who takes the cake. I'll be with you in spirit boys, good luck.

Micheal J Fox called, he said stop living in the past!!!

Karl Marx called. He said that history repeats itself, first as tragedy (blow out by the EAST SIDE), second as farce (comical that West Side is coming back for more).
