I also plan to be there.  I have two zephyrs, but they do not do the same thing.  If someone needs one, they'll get the flippy one  ;D

The course is in the ground. It's free to play at any time.

Except for Jayhawk fans.  $5.

Should have made you pay double for league last night for that comment!!

Ha!  Course looks great, thanks for running league Van.  I know it was a handful last night.

I will get Chains off one of my baskets that was destroyed at Cliff for just such an event.  Doug asked me about it yesterday.  I will try to grab the chains out of my yard tonight after league and get them on there tomorrow.  Thanks for bringing it back up. ;D

Bump status.   ;D

Doug is doing a GREAT job out there.  As an FYI, the course was being mowed yesterday and was looking AWESOME.  I presume they'll finish the rest up yet today.

Funny enough, I threw an upshot last night that left me a 45 foot jump putt staring right at the missing chains.  Luckily the basket caught it anyway!  Nonetheless, we should probably get it fixed if at all possible.  Thanks Jack!

Will swope gold be free to play on Thursday evening despite players meeting? Also, will it be permanently set up starting today and free to practice for the week or only set up at certain times?

If you are a Kansas Jayhawk fan it is $5 per round.  If you are a Missouri Tiger fan it is free.  So, choose your allegiance wisely.

I was trying to think of a "shot of the night" but I don't think we really had any to be quite honest.  We very nearly had a full card of 3's on hole 4 but one putt came in just a little low.  Jose was sitting about 20' for the 3 on hole 6, but decided to lay up given the wind and tourney mentality we were trying to play with.  Jordan and Jay both birdied hole 16 from about 8' each.  Other than that it was a pretty mediocre round for all of us.  Can't wait for Saturday morning!

Four of us went ahead and just played a practice round instead of league once we saw that the second card was just putting on hole one when we were teeing off on 7.  I for one wanted to get home and finish watching the butt-kicking the Royals gave the Tigers last night (until Donnie Joseph came in and watered down the score)...  In any event, the wind was pretty hefty last night.  Par 66 layout per the caddy book, with scores as follows:

Jordan Hinck- 66
Jose Ossa - 67
Matt Perry - 68?
Jay Cram - 70?

I'd like to think I did something pretty cool lol. Now let's see if I can get the check before November

Nice job Matt , I'll make sure I turn in everything by end of the year.

Haha, why don't you make him wait a little Kelly.  January 2015 is probably sufficient.

I threw an absolute fantastic shot that was parked on other pin and was out of bounds.  I thought as long as I throw a straight shot I will be fine.  Guess not.   Stupid artificial ob.  Makes courses look gimmiky when it's unnecesary.  Wyco is a fantastic course and plenty difficult without it.

Preach!

I'll be there about 5:30, but also have no idea who's running the league... JACK?!

See you there CD!  If there are only going to be a handful of people then running an actual league isn't necessary.  I think all of us are just trying to get some practice in for next weekend...

The league will happen. I think Matt runs the league at Cliff on Mondays - so I assume he will run it at BV tonight.

He text me and said that he will not be running it, that's why I was asking.  There will probably be a few of us there at 5:00 to go ahead and tee off.

Ha well I am more than happy to fix it if someone gives me a chain - I'd go buy one but don't know the specifications.  I plan to play the course tonight.  If you've got spare chain at the shop I can grab one on lunch and gladly do it.
