They need to be trimmed a little more, I did have a deuce putt yesterday when I practiced it.

Wait are we really playing #12 at WW on the Peninsula? Throwing over #18s green essentially?

That's really dumb and unsafe.

It's never on the peninsula. I like the call. Move 18 if anything.

If people don't mind I would like to stay away from 10, 11, & 12 & just give them their wedding space. I like the idea making whole 3 into 2 holes just for flow of the game reasons & LOVE the idea of 7A. What do you think of making a hole from 8's tee pad to 9's basket??? It's very picturesque if you ask me.

And a par 4 or even 5 - for most

I would think it would be pretty sweet to mix it up a bit & throw some different holes my self. What about the fri night casuals though???

Just put cones up on the teepad or something - maybe even a paper on the tee sign?  Surely they've coordinated this with LSPR, so they could probably provide the cones to exclude holes 10-12 from play.

It's his wedding - surely we can accomodate.  There are definitely other options with the course from a safari standpoint that would allow you to skip 10-12.

62 for me.....7 in advanced, I think......You also got #4 as well with a solid shot.....

Yeah, but Jose's shot was better so I left mine out :)  I think the highlight of Jack's round was the "pickup" he had on hole 12.

Jose stole the show with a 54 - very consistent round from him with 3 birds and three bogeys I believe.  Jack and I were just along for the ride as the only other open players.  Highlight from my round was a birdie on 6 - parkjob about 10 feet behind the basket with an old pro line Monster (as Jose put it - it's only a Monster in name, not in flight).  I finished with a 58 and I cannot remember what Jack ended with; something close to that as well.  Stay tuned for total results...

Good to see friendy teasing going on, forums are usually a buncha insults and threats...

Oh if you dig a little, you'll find some of that here as well.  However, we're trying to steer clear of that and are well on our way to doing so.  KC Disc Golf needs to stick together and work together - regardless of the situation.

You are right.  We tied.  Still first though.  Not the point I was trying to make.   Thigh curl contest it is!  Followed by a one-legged ass kicking contest.  Jordan can even use his good leg.

You know I just had to give you trouble Eric.  I don't exactly have a "good" leg either - ACL torn on one, leg broke on the other.  I guess I lose this contest...

I'm fairly new to Disk Golf and I want to join a local league, having said that I'm busy weekday evenings and was looking to get experience and meet new people. I'm looking at Legasy Friday nights and was wondering the details about it. I hear its doubles (not really clear on how that works) and I was curious how a novice player like myself would fair in a non rec league. I would love to play players better than me but at the same time I don't wanna get killed out there. Any details would be appreciated...thanks for your time!

Both Legacy (on fri) and Pleasant Hill (sun) leagues are random draw doubles.  Meaning you will draw for a partner (at least once, right Kelly  ;)) and then it's best shot doubles, take the best shots between you and your partner.  There will be some really strong players out there but there are several guys that are in a similar situation and new to the game and competing in leagues.  The most important thing to remember is to have fun and try not to drag your partner down.  Last time I played Legacy league, my partner and I won, but we probably used 17/18 of my putts and 16/18 of my drives.  My partner still helped us win, by either laying up so I could run it and he had 2 park jobs on some of the shorter holes.  If you want to get better, meet some new people, and have fun you need to get out there.

I believe you tied for the win there Eric...  ;)

Yates is partially my fault as well, John.  I'm hopeful that we can do another workday this fall as it has been over a year since we had the last one.  Let's figure out a date once the weather gets a bit cooler and cut back some of the overgrowth.  I think the wooden tee signs are a hopeless cause.  It is evident that several have met the wrath of a baseball bat since they were installed.  Several are no longer existent.
