Literally have not played more than like 3 leagues this year and haven't played much casual either.  Quite frankly I forgot I even had it there waiting for me.  My bad, welcome to come try and take it from me at roc vs. buzzz on Sunday Utz.  Best of luck to ya.

Thanks Rick, I'll try and swing by this week.  I haven't played much DG this year so I do apologize; I need to get my membership current as well I do believe.

Back to Roc vs. Buzzz.  Temps looking nice at 76 and sunny for Sunday!

If only Dave and everyone else were 100% correct in spelling my last name once in a while....ooofta.

Haha can't wait for this event; glad I finally have the chance to play it.  The only Buzzz about this year is going to be how bad they got ROC'D!

I'm pretty sure by playing the course "cold" as opposed to "blind" he meant there will be longer holes and therefore you might want to warm up before the event to stretch out your arm.  The course will probably be filled with temporary placements that likely won't be set up until the morning of the event so baskets don't get stolen overnight.  It is a 20+ hole layout so good chance the actual positions won't be set for FTL.  That's not to stop you from taking FTL there because I'm sure plenty of placements will be Swope originals, but knowing the course layout prior to the event probably wouldn't give you much advantage even if it was set up....you only get one disc mold to throw so your options are fairly....limited.

Thanks for getting the cash to DD so quickly this week Eric, I know you have a lot on your plate at the moment and running this event wasn't the easiest in the world to accomplish.

Aviar with a little less glide and a little more stability in the domey tops.  The concave tops were straight as an arrow.

Is this a true flex start?  If so, what's the latest you can tee off?

The idea is still present and I think the City of Independence is on board in theory, but the means to do so is currently at a stand still.  The City of Independence wants a written confirmation from the Department of Natural Resources saying we can proceed.  They feel it is necessary because the land is currently being monitored by the DNR since it is an old landfill in some areas.  Since there will be digging in some areas we have to be sure it is approved in the area we would like to use.  By our maps, it appears the area for the course was not used for the landfill.....I gather that DNR says it would be a good use of the land (to have a disc golf course) over the phone etc, but they have not yet put pen to paper....Once a letter is received we can reconvene with them.  So, stay tuned is the best advice I can give at this point; the idea is still alive.

Throw it in the fairway and you don't have to worry about spotters  8).  Sorry I couldn't make it this year although I did spot a round last year.

Course was in FANTASTIC shape.  Kudos to Liberty P&R because it looked awesome and the rough is growing nicely as John had intended for OB....very easy to define in my opinion.

The online registration closed earlier than the time posted. I know of one female that would have liked to have played but we were at the K tonight.

Did you call or message Scott?  Scott@dynamicdiscs.Com I think is his email address and I think his phone number is on the pdga website.

Or did you read the message he posted on August 10th saying don't call me after registration closes because I'll be giving you bad news?  Agree with Jack folks why wait until the last minute?
