Can we get a listing of the settings here to think about it through our heads?

TIA,

Rosedale / Re: Truck needed for material pickup
« on: May 28, 2008, 11:41:17 AM »
Who has a truck or trailer to make this happen?

This needs to be done, and we have all these people willing to help on line, yet no one seems to want to help off line, step it up folks, lets see who can make the Wide Open a chance for us to shine on the course preparedness.

Make people realize that we are the KCFDC, and we are a collective community that can help bring it together!

why go to 2 places, this site has all the same information.  last year there was the same info on both sites, and this site had more discussion about it on it......

Or you could step up and make the needed time adjustments to make the kcwideopen.com site a valuable tool, just call Dan......

Cliff Drive / Re: Are Mondays better for Cliff Drive League?
« on: May 28, 2008, 09:42:10 AM »
The Format for this league has changed almost every week, that has been the only consistent piece to it, so to say that it is solely a doubles league is false, but the votes are coming in and it is looking like a move back to Monday's may not be out of line.

Saturdays are hard days to hit, and I personally think that the 10 am time frame is bad, I would like to see a nooner time slot, then at BV, we could do the 10 am slot.....but then I am not running it, just wondering what we can do to get more traffic out there on this course, and I want to get more work done out there, so the more people play, the more that they want to miss that tree, and come out and help!!

Thanks,

Jack

Cliff Drive / Re: Tee Pads

shh.....that pad's a secret......don't tell.....

1-3 clearing needs to be the priority this year, all the honeysuckle needs to be gone, and grass planted.  I can handle 6" grass, but havnig all the trees is horrible to try and clean up.

Workdays will ensue after the Wide Open.

Actually they have more staff dedicated to solely raising money than we do.  It boils down to people pushing themselves to get that money to the event, and TIME, which is something that most of us do not have to donate.  I had more time in the past to grab that attention, and now with 13 interviews a day, I do not.  If we had a dedicated staff person to solely raise $$ it would be better.

Alas we all have our "day job" to contend with in the area, and thus the way our purse has slipped over the past few years.  However if you are interested in helping with raising money, I still feel the best method is a tee sign for the Wide Open, and parlay that into the Worlds for next year.  Feel free to call me with moer information.

With attendance down drastically from the last year or so, I was wondering if Monday was really a better day!!

Please respond in the poll and in here!!

When will the course be set to the Wide Open settings?

All Red baskets should be moved to the Shed for the event as well.

Thanks,

Jack

Actually it will be pretty easy, there is a road that we will be able to drive up to and get there, it should not be a problem at all.

Help with WW and ROSEDALE right now, lets get those girls looking hot for the Wide Open NOW!

Des Moines courses were AWESOME!!

General Banter / Re: Local Ratings through 5/21
« on: May 23, 2008, 09:30:33 AM »
Yeah, I was worried about my rating locally, why I decided not to finish one round....

I think that I have an 806 rated round in that scoring, but Chapman would be the advisor on that.....having a couple of 1000 rated rounds certainly do not hurt getting to that point....

Folks, that posted information by some dummy named Andy is inaccurate, do not believe his post, as he did not take into account that tournament rounds are in the mix from PDGA, and DeeLiteful days, so his theory (nothing new for this guy folks) is wrong!

You may continue to listen to John Chapman, and ignore this Andy character that keeps on pushing his own desires to read information as he sees fit!

hole 9 is close to 380' so it does stand out a little bit different than the rest of them....
