JOhn,

I am pretty sure it has always been 1-2 format.  Thats why we can leave early on Saturday, set up, party, pass out, wake up and play, then drive home, try to not fall asleep and go to work, and be thankful that there is a chair to sit in for the Monday after this event.....

Buckle kicked Jami out of it, "cuz he was pro", yet Arturo and Bobby play, and they are not?

Anything can happen in homey, let em all play.

the problem is that people tend to destroy them, hit them with cars, set them on fire.....etc.....The entire area used to have those all around, and they have slowly but surely beat the snot out of them.

I will look into it though!!

THanks,

Jack

Blue Valley / Re: Cliff Drive/ Blue Valley Doubles League

IN talking with a few people about this, the response seems to be good.  The one thing that most people agree with though is to have the Cliff Drive Course be the mainstay, and use Blue Valley not as much.  I would like to entertain the idea again of having the First Saturday of the Month at Blue Valley, and the rest of the weekends would be at Cliff Drive.

I have 6 people that said they prefer that format.

Thanks,

jack

I sent a note to the Parks and rec, thanking you for your work Keizer, admonishing them about the fact that it has been there from 8/07, and making note about the police officer igonring the illegal drug remnants you came across.

Thanks for your hard work out there on a beautiful day!!

Wish I could have been out there to help.  I will get out there on Saturday.

Thanks,

Jack

Andy does bring up a good point, though in all honesty this is not something that maybe you want to post, as it is only for the first 16 people that get it.

Dick is in now that is on Mondays.

As far ass Wednesday taking away from people, I think that all leagues will have to be looked at as losing some people for this league.  I really think that Olathe last year probably averaged as many players as Rosedale did over the entire season, so I am not sure that the statement holds true in that regards.  Swope and Cliff Drive were the two most lax in attendance last year based on my views.

New Players League is not something that will draw the type of person that this league is looking for I believe as well.  I think that this league is going to draw from the more experienced golfers that are looknig to expand some competition.

Of course this is my own random thoughts.

This also sux in some regards, because I need to move the Worlds meetings to Mondays, but it should only affect me a couple of times during this season of 7 weeks.
