I'll GPS it just for ya Timko......its hard to get a 3.....I gave up, Aaron took a 6 I think, and Terry took a 4 last night..... ;D

Best shot is actually longer not shorter CD.....your brain is shrinking....Best disc in your scenario would be quicker....alternate shot is the fastes way to play.

I think that I am pretty good on this.  I have been working with neighborhood associations for quite some time, so I was a little surprised.  But I am confident that we will be able to move forward.  There is a few items that I think they just need to be assured of, but I have letters of support from all the associations, its just that some of them have changed leadership a few times sicne we started talking disc golf in the park (1999-2000) so some people are just not as informed, and have hesitations.

Ill keep you all posted as we move forward....

Bad news.......Pasd hit a SNAFU, as some concerns came about with regards to wether or not the pads will blend in well with the design of the park.......I am planning on meeting with the neighborhood associations to ensure that we are all on the same page.  My argument is essentially that the pads will be less conspicuous than the railroad ties that have been there for the last 3 years.....

But I played the course yesterday with the new teeing areas, and the moved pins, and boy its fun to play out there.

Come on out and see for yourself.

I plan on doing some shore up at hole #1 hopefully Keizer will bring the generator on Sadturday ~11 to finish up there and work on a stronger clearing from 1......

17 on the island is TOUGH, probably one of the toughest holes now inthe city.  11 short from teh new pad, is a putter shot, I barely stayed in bounds on first attempt with a DX roc, second attempt with a putter put me OB.

8's new pin will be interesting to see how the foilage comes up this season.......

2, long
4, short
5 long
7 -- has been moved to its new long position, deeper in the shelf that goes up to the left at the end of the fairway. You can reach this pin either by going up the traditional shelf route, or there is also a line cut through the trees that you can use if you throw to the right of the shelf. Enjoy...*(modified 3-9-09)
8 short
10 middle
11 short (new pad top of hill)
13 short (will be putting in a new LONG soon though)
17 Island-OB RULES, you are either on the island, or your not, there will be a drop zone added this weekend ~100'
18 Top of hill

moved 10.....didn't try 11, 17 wasn't going, but I did not have my junk that I use to loosen the locks.  The problem with Cliff's locks is that they are never moved, we don't have a lot of multiple pin placements, and when the locks sit idle, they harden, so they need somje TLC.  I plan on working on it today Dan, just for you!

I also plan on working at the new hole #1 today, I want to clean it up fromt he trash, finish securing the ties, and start to think about a way to cross.

P&R will start to deliver rock either today or tomorrow, and will be working on the pads over the next couple of saturdays.  They got approved OT, and it makes them all so happy.  My plan is to work with them to develop a stronger clearing on #7 and then remove more of the rock from the face on #8.

We shall see!!!

Changes coming, and the Mighty Mo will have tee pads this year.....really....I mean it for realz....

I got my yellow one max weight on everyone can now buy one to throw, because I have the winner....welll I guess I should buy a white one as well to haev both the winners....

WW and Cliff Drive, should be the first event with Tee pads at Cliff (how long have I been threatening to have them there?).

We will start at WW and then off to Cliff in the afternoon.

I will post details as I come up with the price plan.

RIght now I am thinking about the following-
$50-Pro divisions
$30-Adv divisions

There will be additional fees-
$2/Non-KCFDC member fee
$3 Ace fund
$10-non-PDGA fee

There is talk about having a charity event on the 9th @ Cliff Drive for the North East area (Indian Mound Association), I will post more here on that, I realize that there is the prostate event, but it is far away from this event, so I iwll try to ask that you choose what to do, but realize that our time for events is tight, and this date unfortunately was mapped out last December with the organization, based on our plan to have the Mighty Mo the day after the fund raiser.

More information to follow, it should be listed in the PDGA soon, sanctioning has been sent.
