I am also working on having about 4-6 of us go on the ice during Warm-ups and sit on the bench and watch them warm up.  Its a pretty good time folks, and if we have a big enough group of us to go will be an aabsolute blast!

Hellz ya!

Again great job! Can we get a round of applause over here for BV? I can't wait to play this course again tomorrow. Really fun. Some great tweener shots and some real deuce possibilities even for an Am like me  :) The bushes and trees are going to make such a difference as well. Again, bravo!

Love the new set-up and all the fresh greenery!!!

Initial ideas for the courses this year will include:
Blue Valley-Short
Blue Springs

Water Works

Swope Gold

I think that sounds like a great set-up...a couple newbies mixed in with some golden oldies.  I vote yes.

Rosedale needs to be maxed out though, can be such a good course in long positions.

I believe that some people return to NT's year after year so they can play an epic course that they loved and would not otherwise get to play...such as Waterworks, Cliff Drive(Not so sure about Rosey or Swope).
I know that if I ever make it back to Oregon to play the Beaver Fling, I damn sure hope they would continue to play Milo McIver...because in my opinion, those are the 2 (best, most scenic, peaceful) courses I have ever played.     But, I also agree with Fred.  If you have a full repertoire of courses, you should rotate them into the mix, to give the locals a change, and show the out-of-towners that there is more than one great course to choose from.

Great call Andy!!

Looks like some great improvements to shorten the course a bit Jack.  Now I won't dread going to Blue Valley anymore, afraid of my arm falling off mid-round, and not being able to defend myself against the creepers hanging around the parking area staring at me.

Excellent map skills too!!

Just played Blackthorn and Wood henge last Sunday.  Liked them both a lot, but Wood Henge is definitely my favorite of the 3.

I might have to make a return trip this Sunday,  if people will actually show up :o

Bobby, Adam C. and I were the only Discers on all three courses.....Too bad, you all missed out on the very rare and elusive Snowy Owl sighting on hole 15 Wood Henge 8)

Bag Tags / Re: 2012 BAG TAG RESULTS
« on: October 25, 2011, 12:11:40 PM »
One thing I know a lot of people forget is that when they DNF a round they are supposed to take the highest tag on the card if they don't already possess it so their lower tag stays with the card. This happened to me at WW this summer someone bailed early taking their lower tag with them... Joe.....   :'(   I could have had my lowest tag all summer....  Oh well....  I would have just lost it the next round I played anyway....   ::)

That was the worst round I have been a part of all summer, not for my game, but with Dick and the guy from Oklahoma bickering all round, i couldn't help but leave... if you would have reminded me, I would have definitely left it for you....I care about this much (picture my fingers pressed together) about tags anyway, because nothing ever comes from them the end of the year, and it does seem the low tags seem to disappear about half way through the year ???

We need a better way to track them through out the year, that way anybody can go win that sucka when they want.

BTW, if you still want my #8, it belongs to Brock Barrett now, and I am sure he is defending it fiercely in the disc golf heavens.
