I agree, I generally know my designated charitable gifts throughout the year and give that way versus a dollar here dollar there.

It is my understanding the 501 is harder to get then it is to retain.

My thoughts on this by-law remain the same as when we updated the rule, my stance was a person making more than 51% of income should be allowed to be on the board, they have more to lose and generally try very hard to keep the ship afloat.  The hitch in this giddy-up is IF it hinders the KCFDC from receiving the 501c status.  Like Dick and Jack have written, the attorney said it would look better but is not absolutely necessary.  Who is the last person to speak with Grady?  Seems like everytime we (the KCFDC) walks down this path, about once per year, the 501c application rules have changed.

The crock pots were an uphill battle.  Who is the man that came back with the power checker?  He really saved the day.  Next year we need a volunteer that knows about power dedicated only to keeping the crock pots hot.

In the future we need for the chili contest:

Feedback from a judge: Label the TOP of the crock-pot for easier judging. Also, more spacing (extra tables, etc) the judges had nowhere to put the lids when they were tasting.  Also, agree on the flow for the Chili, need cheese/ onions etc at the end.

What a fantastic year for IB!  Had a ball!!

I sent some info to your Yahoo account.

Along with a putting tourney, I want to have a technical throw tourney. Example.  One hole might have you throw a roller, next hole might have you tore a mando, next hole you might throw a tunnel shot, next hole you might throw up and over a wall, etc.....  Thoughts anyone

Prairie Center / Re: Basket missing on 4

Thanks for getting this done Tom!

Basket is back. Two trees are gone on hole 4, one by basket and one tall one in front of tee pad.

Yes, the City bought it, I picked it up at their shop and assembled it, then Brian Corneilius, Brian Taylor, Mr. Gus, Cindy and I installed it. The thieves cost a lot of folks a lot of hassle.

As B.A. would say..."I pity the fools".  >:(
