Water Works / Re: Trash Talkin'

I like the ideas coming out here.  Really, maybe we will try to have league directors pass out bags.  If it doesn't work, we can stop.  Ian, do you usually play Water Works?  Want to run this by Ted?

Ian & Peter,

Thank you so much for helping on short notice.  Theiss brought up an idea recently.  How would people feel about getting sent out on their league card with a new trash liner and if on the last hole the trash is full you bring it in.  Thoughts?

Glover, Feather banners are at storage and regular banners are at Swope, which do you want for the event?

Unsure.....I don't know where the feather banners and new banners went after the Wide Open.

Did our banner make it back to storage?

we have a banner.....we don't have any of this other stuff you mention, unless someone bought it over the last year....when I helped you out, we used my baskets, and combined our discs....some of which took years to return to you.....

The list below are folks that volunteered but have not checked in online.  If you remember anyone else please put their info below.  Don't want to miss out on giving our volunteers a big thank you!

I need a basket for my backyard.  Not a portable, a real, solid basket.  Anyone selling?

General Banter / Read this if you volunteered for the Wide Open 2012

If you volunteered at the KCWO this year please respond with your name, contact information and hours worked.  We, of course, would like to show our appreciation and want to ensure we do not overlook anyone’s hard work.   This includes, getting courses ready, XXX games, spotters, water refills, party planning etc.

Now that the KCWO is in our rear view mirror let's think about who would make a good Captain for this event?

I had several people express this weekend how they would like to be "more involved."  Taking on Team Captain is a perfect start.

With the large crowd joining the clinics I think a microphone would have made it better.  Overall it was a sweet deal, tons of good info.

Thanks again for everyone that showed up for this weeks Monday night clinic. Like Ben said we had a great turnout and a huge turnout of pros. The women even got to play four holes with Paige, Catrina and Brittney.
Please give me some feed back on what you think the future clinics should have in them and what you thought we could have done better. There were so many big arm pros I thought the distance demo would be fun.

I use the spray on Newskin if I am playing with a blister, just spray it onto your finger and keep it in your bag.
I played both tournaments this weekend and between the 1st and 2nd round on Sunday I developed a pretty bad blood blister on my index finger which made it pretty hard to play. I drained it and removed the dead skin but now there is just fresh skin there. Is there a way to speed up the healing process? I want to make the C-tiers in STL this weekend. If not, is there a way to prevent this from happening again?
