Well said, James. Dave I look forward to this tourney more than most! All the prize handouts you mentioned are always sweet! The food is always great! If anyone fears the heat these guys have the course stocked with tons of h20 and vitamin waters the last few years more than you could drink and it was HOT! all for an awesome cause. Thanks in advance Dave and Gary can't wait for this weekend!

If you are on the fence just sign up! this tourney is a blast!!!

We might win the "most beer consumed" card prize if you throw James in our group.  My partner and I enjoyed the tallgrass beer a little too much last year, and I saw James drinking a beer on a course one time i think...  Seriosuly though, if you put us with Team Jim James how am I supposed to heckle Palmer? (unless you put him on the card in FRONT of us, THEN i can heckle James AND Palmer!)

Jim Sherwood

I see after being threatened with annhilation James you went and found yourself a partner who's way better than you.  Good thinking.  I am now a bit more worried than when I was just planning on crushing James the Giant, and not the super team known as Team Jim James.  Jim, I only hope that you have seen James in person, and played Thornfield, and fully understand how hard it will be lugging that bag of bones on your back all day.  He's like 8 feet tall.  James-forewarning: the rough at thornfield is FULL of poison ivy, thorns (duh) and snakes. It ain't Rosie... be careful where you choose to run off the fairway for your customary mid-round dump!!!

Sorry I could not attend. I was working.

Apology accepted, Glover.  You were indeed missed greatly, and in fact the whole "disc golf" theme of the day was overshadowed by the constant whispers and exclamations of "where's glover?"

I agree with the smoking ban, and am currently pushing for a similar ban on: tennis shoes, shorts above the knees, hats, logos on shirts, disc golf bags, ipods, high-fives, fist bumps, celabratory shouting, and fun. I also am considering pushing for a ban on the flight of all flying discs on or about any disc golf course.  Maybe we can round up everyone caught smoking or breaking these other rules, and can place them in work concentration camps. C'mon people, first it is cigs on the course next thing disc golfers will be smoking meth with your kids when you are not around.  We need to get this smoking epidemic under control before its too late!!!

Amateur is not about winning.  It is about the love of the game.  If you don't feel that is the point then you need to move to open where it is about winning.

It's ALWAYS about winning, guys.  I think you two should stop bickering and both play amateur.  Especially you, Dick.

Last 2 Years everyone is in 1 pool to start and after the first round everyone is split into 3(?) divisions according to scores. This format is perfect the last 2 years for placing my partner and I near the bottom of the "A" division- meaning we start the 2nd round 6-8 shots behind the overall leaders and get more stomped from there! I keep telling him to play even crappier than he usually does first round but he never listens...

Seth Wolzen hit his second ace in 48 hours by hitting a blind wedge ace on #16 short left at Rosie last night.    171g z nuke lefty backhand stuck in the front left of basket.  Congrats on the ace(s)!!!

Seth Wolzen aced #5 at Cliff Drive today.  Lefty backhand anny with a roadrunner, slight tree touch at very end put it in dead center of chains-had to run up hill to confirm it was in the basket, but there was never really a doubt ;D  Charlie Sheen paid him $5 in wooden nickels, and the tired-ass b%tch that was tagging along with us just drooled and panted, and refused to pay!

Here's a prepared response you should use next time someone on the course asks who you are affiliated with: I, don glover, am acting according to my own free will and am not associated nor affiliated with any group, business, or organization other than the Glover family, and I apologize ahead of time for any time you might have or will spend in my presence.

Also, for the small cut I recommend some neosporin and a band-aid. Ad for the inability to feed or bathe yourself due to a cramping arm, I recommend a frontal laboromy and/or a visit to your neighborhood obgyn.
