did you you guys go out on your second place earnings, or is that a joke?

if we weren't getting paid, i'd think kevin and kory would take first; and you and dick got second.

i'll get you my petty, and your little dog too.

u fur dude, why are you so worried about my posts. maybe you should make disc golf etiquette part of your platform. u could mix in some tips for proper blogging as well. i think i need some help, as this is not the first time u cut me down for what i wrote.
Gee, it would be better if you'd be interested in helping the club progress, to make KC an even better place for disc golfing...

i also think jtheiss was making a joke when he mentioned the free beer. there wouldn't be a william yates jr.course if not for his efforts. i'll get both of you a cold drink at the meeting.

i wish to throw my name in the hat for swope's cc position
 -matt hays
i know it's scary carrying cash in the park; but i'm 6'2'' 240(whatever) and i'd liketo see the club try to raise more money and awareness out of our clubhouse. reach kc's casual players with some regular hours of operation to talk frolf and let them get their hands on our clubs fundraising gear.
i'd also like to see the o.b.s be less 70's-they get real shaggy sometimes.

swope really does have the clubhouse feel mentioned in the pdga evalution: so many holes visible, so many placements. i love that dg magazine is made available there. i believe someone can enjoy the sport there even if they're not playing. a big tool in our growth has to come from the spectator side.

please accept my nomination and consider matt hays for swope cc.

when's the next meeting? is it going to be posted elsewhere?

maybe we could get a bunch of locals to go?

it seems to me there's always a complaint of minimal physical work being volunteered from the dg community, however, if you don't want anyone else around to help plan, don't harp when they're not there later. unless thats what you're into( hey, i like to complain too)

i think $50-100 per hole is an under sight, especially if the total will be 20k plus. where is the extra $18,000 going. if there is too much clearing to be done maybe the area in fleming park near the lake jacomo entrance, off woods chapel would be cheaper to construct. the area only needs to be mowed. then maybe you could have holes under $1,000 each.

i want a course in lee's summit as much as anybody else; but "pottberg" may not be realistic.

Club Archives / Re: KCWO7 ARTWORK needed!!
« on: April 08, 2007, 05:42:42 pm »
if it's too late, does that mean we're using the KCWO7 flipped and inverted like on the registration form?

last year someone got on and asked for artwork; but they just used the lettering they already had from the website. maybe next year, if you really wanted to use someone's submission, we need a timeline.

i like the inverted idea, not super creative but it looks clean. i think some Kansans might be upset b/c it says KCMO.
