I am going to assume that league wont be running again next week so if we can get a few people out next Wednesday, 9/25, I would like to do $.25 skins and get on the course by 5:30 at the latest.

Charles

giving this a bump. would be sweet to see a decent turn out.

I SECOND THIS!!! BIG TIME!! i've never seen a course with two pin placements on most of the holes, NEVER get moved. in my opinion it should be a weekly or every other week thing. if it's a time or logistics thing, i am more than happy to help as well. i live less than a mile away from the course. most of the people out here know me too. are they looking for someone new to run league? i think i'd be a decent fit if they are. or if the current person running it just needs a little help, i'm here.   Joe H.

the guys at Mile North have a dude that is damn decent. had em do an owl/octopus design i drew up. had it back in two days. it's tits. was $15 for the single, i'm sure they'd work a deal for a stack.

also dick, i don't think people know what real love is anymore. there isn't an app for that. lol see that, a joke. let's lighten it up in this piece.

agreed Aaron. it's a big city with a lot of love to give, spread it around fellas. also, not everyone in town involved with the club is going to be able to help clean up or even attend the KCWO event itself. will you tell them "way to support the club."? it's a new store from out of town, and this is how we show our hospitality? GREAT idea Mile North, keep the positivity going!!!

No. But if you are going to post on the KCFDC forum, which was built and is managed by volunteers of the club, you should make sure not to run an event in direct conflict with the club.

I'm not bashing MN here. They got the point and made an adjustment. As an active volunteer and thank you for realizing the issue.

To the people who are defending the club. Thank you as well.

Let's show real love and thank a volunteer for making KC the best disc golf town in the world.
there are ways to tell people things without coming off as an a** is all i'm saying. instead of saying "way to support the local disc club", be polite and inform them what is going on. especially to someone new to the great scene we have here. i agree, thank a volunteer, we make this city what it is.

« on: June 08, 2013, 08:59:24 AM »
three years under my belt in this fantastic sport and this is my opinion
1. Wilbur Young a.k.a the Youngle!!! (my home course and where i learned to play-just a beautiful place to be)
2. Water Works
3. Cliff Drive
4. Rosie DU
5. Rosie
6. Legacy
7. Swope
8. Yates
9. Blue Valley (monstrous but majestic-drive,drive,drive,putt)
10. the Youngle again (it's a love/hate thing)(just kidding john, i love it with all my heart)

i've not played any of the other courses in Kansas, just don't venture that way too often. would love to play them sometime though. i know i'm missing out on some beauties out there. haven't played the Smithville complex either, that seems like a lot of fun as well.
