looked for it for a while after the dubs round was over and couldn't find it.

I had to give a shout out to our local boy Loomis, shooting a 1007 rated 1st round to start out the Bowling Green Ams just a couple shots back. Also of note, Minna Dennis is leading Intermediate Women after the 1st day by 2 shots.

General Banter / The Palmer Family's new arrival

Our daughter, Ava Marie Palmer, was born on 6/4 at 2:20 in the afternoon.
Mommy and baby are doing great; we are at home and everything has just been perfect. She's got a good, strong grip and will be hucking Rocs in no time!

General Banter / A Gentle Etiquette Reminder

This may seem like a passive-aggressive act, but I just wanted to give a quick reminder to all golfers out there, not just KCFDC board lurkers.
If you're playing doubles with like 10 people, let smaller groups play through. Our group of 4 was stuck behind a group this size on Saturday and it was SLOOOOOOOOOOW. There was a gigantic gap in front of the large group too.
I mainly bring this up because there were KCFDC members in this group. It didn't really bother me, as the weather was grand and I wasn't in a hurry, but a couple in my group and all the groups behind us were getting a bit agitated.
