oh probably. i think steve just knows his firebirds really well.

if he can throw a buzz effectively apparently he has touch.  he's definitely got some power.  i might recommend a star starfire to him; they're WAY more stable than the pro starfires, have good glide and seem less squirrelly than wraiths and destroyers.  a buddy of mine w/ a big arm bombs the heck out of these.

i think dresser has got plenty of touch, as in probably a little too much touch.  he can work those ce firebirds pretty well.

don't condone the sandbagging by the cantankerous...

she's lulled us into giving her strokes for TOO LONG!!!

no more handicaps for you, ms. 59!

well, after 5 successful defenses of #18, it finally left my grasp.

fred netherton snatched it from me with some great putting at swope league on tuesday.  i'm all the way down to 116 now.

make sure to keep your pull level across your chest and also to follow through on a consistent line.

lastly, thanks to dan "coug hunter" busenbarrick for riding with us and sharing expenses.  he's been a good traveling buddy for these big tournaments and if he can put up with leslie and i for a long trip like this, he must be good people.

he also shot very well too, well enough to move up to the 1st int. pool after his first two rounds.  though he's still smarting from losing his favorite tee rex to the water on basil griffin #2.

you shoot well enough without it dan.

and to toot my own horn one last time, after the 1st day i was ready to just dial it in.  i hadn't played all that well and my putting was atrocious.  thanks to lovers lane #13 though for starting off my 3rd round with a 180 foot roc for deuce on a 450 foot hole and i never looked back, carding a 55 that day in blustery conditions, two strokes off the hot round of my pool.  i've never putted that well in my life, even playing casually; i think i made 3-4 jump putts of 50 feet or more.

truly a great disc golfing experience and we will be going back next year so maybe i can actually dent the int field and leslie can stop sandbagging and come home with a women's intermediate trophy.  ;)

Les was pretty fired up about it.  She said that she shot some of her best rounds.

Shoot, I did too for that matter; all of my rounds were in the 50's, including a 55 at lovers lane.

Hobson Grove was SICK.

Loved the courses, they were a lot of fun.

Pretty short and technical with some boomers thrown in every once in a while.

I would also like to take this opportunity to send congrats to my wife Leslie, who is the new 2008 Bowling Green Am Rec Women's Champion!  Her first A Tier and she took it home!  She made me so proud.

very bummed to have lost this, my favorite fire chicken.

a nice microbrew for anyone that finds it at swope.  lost it in the ditch on #10.

it's red and has my pdga # (31295) on it along with my name and number.
