Anyone know why 8's teepad is broken in half?

the right pin position for #7 was also run over and the pole is on the ground...

i know a few trees have been removed, but did these things happen when the trees were being taken out?

doesn't look like strictly a juniors course, but it isn't blue valley either...

the holes looked like 300 apiece maybe

i drove out to look around today

there are blue flags that i'm guessing representing the tee boxes

there are also tall poles that may represent pin placements

i also spoke with someone from their parks department and they said that they are waiting on the baskets and they will be installed immediately when they get them

i really mean no negativity at all..

I just wish that neighborhood opinion would've been formed from facts, not conjecture.

i think that we can come up with a layout that will make everyone happy....there is quite a bit of room that we can sacrifice on the west side of the course.

well, we met w/ the homeowner's association this evening about the course at pottberg park...

the course backs up to about 12-15 lots in a subdivision and they ARE NOT happy about the course going in at all...i'm hoping that the club can work w/ these people to come up with an acceptable layout...apparently the law enforcement in this particular is in kind of a grey area; the city cops won't go there and the sheriffs don't really care...the people are very worried about the course opening up access points to their yards

i hope the course goes in badly, but i got a bad feeling about it when i was there...tavish, rick rothstein, my wife and myself were there to defend the disc golf cause, and the suburbanites made us feel looked down upon quickly; there was even a women there that had made up a piece of posterboard with articles about disc golf problems all over it...

i'm crossing my fingers
