Saturday, I saw at least two signs that required all dogs to be on a leash. I am sure that it would have been fine (I didn't see a single car come into the park in two hours), but unlike most of the parks (except SMP) with disc golf in the area they made an extra effort to proclaim the city's policy. I have occasionally played ignorant of the leash ordnances when stopped by the rangers in KCK parks and been allowed to tether my beast with no further repercussions. It would be difficult for me to plead ignorance with multiple signs, including one at the main entrance to the park.
On another note, I enjoyed the reconfiguration of the course. I really like the mix of righty, lefty and neutral holes. The use of the woods are a bonus. I will definitely play it again, but the almost hour long drive will always be the biggest deterrent. I know that we are truly lucky in the KC to have so many good 18 hole courses that this rural gem is further away than at least a dozen others from my home. Choice is good and KC disc golf is great.
