Swope is at O.P. this week. We'll see how many make it with the rain.

So, no response means Swope League is at Old Pike this week.

In the future, I would like to see Likert scales for each question to better inform Jack's data. This will encourage him to expound more than ever.

I made it out to the beautiful Swope gully course this afternoon and while it was wet in the low lands, it was so green and vibrant I didn't mind a bit.

The small rock retaining wall on 11 is a double sided coin. It doesn't look great as of now, but someone did take to initiative and volunteered to do it. We can make it better in the next week with some help and communication.

I am back in town, and I am willing to run it this week if people want to play. If not, we will continue the urban reciprocity agreement with Old Pike.

Shout out for Swope if you want league this week, please.

I am going out there today. Maybe this can be addressed at next week's workday, but yes Mark is correct it should look good and it seems there was no communication about the work. Personal leadership is always to be commended, and good communication is right there too.

Swope. Yes. When? I am sure the gulley course could get some experienced and into education golfers to help out. You'd probably only need 3 or 4 people to help with such a small group. How many rounds? Picnic/BBQ midday with some disc related activities?
Depending on when it is, I can help.

Looks like I missed a great group at the gully course tonight. Next week.

Please don't encourage him.

Cool. Thanks I agree. How about next Thursday?

Innova  and schwag around these parts. I wish I could make this one. I have to miss Thornfield twice in two weeks. What a shame.

So I never threw the disc at league. I guess it fell out at some point. Name is on the inside rim w/ tel #. Good karma if returned.

I say we throw out Jake's score.  Clearly that's an outlier intended to skew the stats for everyone else.

As long as you're throwing out the outliers, I guess you could throw out my 65. ;). With so many local faces, it was a fun night of golf.

This thread sums it all up. A bunch of people with opinions, a few with facts, and poor communication and misunderstandings.

The mission statement was the first thing I worked on the board to provide a focus for all to work towards. Yet, we have a lot more to do with the old leadership and new in this organization. Cooper, I know you live in Lawrence but I could see getting involved at that level. My two cents.

The bottom line is to do the work and communicate with the CC's, hence, the club. If we want to be a leading organization we have act like one and keep our online personalities with our face-to-face personalities.
This topic is very informative and I thank Cooper for his insightful responses. Now that we have espoused our solutions let's get done what needs to be done.  In other words, this is still talk, important, but still talk.
