Thought you were going to take a day off . . . guess you spent to much time on the forum?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  I actually just went out to pick up a disc from Tom.  Never played a round with Beckett and hadn't seen Cade in a while.

It rained on us the whole time.  4 men got some practice in it.

Beckett        57
Brian G        58
Jeffo            71
Cade            74

Birdland has pads!  Be there next week!

I can't make it this week.  My nephew is getting married in Lawrence.  If anyone wants a piece of 184 they'll have to come get it Saturday at the MAC.

I'll cover something for Mike. I owe him a disc. Bring it on Saturday. I've got some newly acquired vintage discs from the 80s-early 90s you might like. Or if I win a bet, I could do cash???  Pm me how much $ it would take so I know how serious I need to play

Look man, I was just defending my brother on a comment that made no sense.  I should've just let it go, but until he wins an intermediate tournament, I don't see any reason why he needs to move up if he doesn't feel comfortable doing so - just my opinion.  The PDGA doens't even recommend that a player move to advanced until 935.  J has stayed out of the discussion, so I commend him for that.  He made his defense and left it at that.  I'm just pointing out the facts; but evidently I get a little too defensive at times on this forum.

I'm not sure who you're pointing the wager at, but feel free to throw it my way if you'd like.

Cool.  $20 and I want 10 strokes. I'd fight you, Ian but my Mom won't let me hit a guy with glasses

I can't wait to see all you at the tourney.  Hopefully Tank will be there to tell me what to do.  Anyone who knows me, knows I don't get in anyone's head.  But since the sh$t talk is so good, maybe we could make a little wager?

I decided to move Hole #12 to the long right position.  For speed and safety I thought this was best.

I love ya, Scott, but Boooo to no peninsula

I wish we had a betting line on this weekend's tourney, looks to be a great field of competitors. Anyone have any predictions?

As much as I would like to see an American or east sider win this, I am expecting the redcoat, Slamming Sammy Webber, to edge out Matt Prodigy Perry, Jordan, and Walker for the victory. My Dark horse to make it in the top 5 is unrated Brandon Elkins.

In intermediate, Jordan's bigger brother will hold off the White Tornado and Skinny Brian Palmer for the win.

For those that want live scoring, I will be tweeting live scoring on the intermediate women's top card @ComoVince.  8)

Can't wait for this weekend, it'll be a great tourney!  For those who don't know, he's not my "big" brother due to age...he's just big. ha

And should be playing adv.  Please card me with this guy, Scott. I'd love a chance to test his mental game.

I don't think he should be playing advanced in a B tier event. In fact, I highly doubt you've ever even played with him. So are you basing this on his rating? And lets be sportsmanlike shall we? Test his mental game - what kind of bush league crap is this anyway?

I believe we played one in emporia?  Maybe the monkey island?  Chill pill dude. I thought the game was 90% mental.  And yeah, I think anything over 900 is advanced

Bag Tags / Re: 2012 bag tag ideas
« on: July 30, 2013, 06:18:02 AM »
Just wanted to bump this to get some ideas going for next years tags. I liked the BBQ idea. Tits would be nice also. And my personal would be popular old school discs. Or most popular discs from all brands(I bet there are at least 10 companies that make them). Will Dick be handling this task again?

Its all good. I just never get a chance to kick it with the BoD. I'm a joco, I gotta whine a little bit. Ill make it to next years. Wide Open is too cool of an event not to be a part of.

Did this happen already? I helped check in at Swope, spotted at BV, and broke down banners at Swope.  Oh well. I guess a true thank you to Kevin for throwing me a free shirt. As far as anyone else: thumbs down

Sorry Mike, the disc wouldn't fly across the pond. Let me know if you want the same or I can show you my stash and let you pick one. I've got the putter still.  I'll see ya Saturday.
