I'll be there tonight and hope I get no cut-throughs.

My casual rounds always include tags, 2 off the tee on hole 1, gimme putts within 5ft for everyone, beer, disc flippin' and OB penalties. This is basically the same at league minus the 2 drives off the tee.

A lot of people do two off the tee on hole 1.  I surely hope they don't count those rounds if they score a personal best ... cuz it's not.

If I can erase my bogey on 18 and change my score to a 56 then yeah, 68 for Edwin :)

Five of us showed up to play Kansas City's most complete course.  Played all the nickel pin placements and had a great time. The most dramatic hole of the day was 17, basket on the island green.  Kevin Corbett's second throw smacked the curb on entry and stayed out.  Not quite matching that heartbreak was my second throw hitting the light pole and bouncing back O.B.  Kevin dropped in his putt for a nasty 5 and I dropped my putter in the basket for a lovely 6 after my putt for 5 cut through from 12 feet away.
Beckett's adventure came on holes 11 and 12 where he miraculously saved two bogeys.

1st.   Jose Ossa         (28268)   57  ...  $12
T-2   Kevin Corbett    (17588)    59 ... $8  (wins cash on a CTP playoff)
T-2   Beckett Carduff (12330)    59
T-2   Scott Melrose    (27493)    59
5th   Bill Shinoski      (52803)    71

Jack, we all played in the same division for payout but Bill lists himself as Advanced.

Although Jack is in Emporia this week, we will still play league today at Cliff Drive.

6 pm tee off.

Kansas City isn't humid.

It's good to live in a disc golf mecca.

You can always find someone to have a competitive round with here.

Special thanks to all who go out of their way to help develop the skills of other players.  Wink to LaRon Harris.  What a great person and instructor.

We have amazing people who run leagues almost every day of the week.  You guys rock and I thank you after every league, but it still doesn't feel like thanks enough.

Jack Lowe carries extra plastic in his car just to give away to people who are brand new to the sport.  If he sees them throwing a Frisbee, he hooks them up with something more suitable.  What a great idea this is.  I'm adopting it and keeping some dx plastic in my car to give away and expand our influence even more.

It typically is.  Jack may be in Emporia, I'm not sure, but if he is, league is usually run by someone else.

The first Monday of the month is the only day this league travels to Blue Valley.

I guess playing 6 long courses in five days took its toll on my arm.  I had nothing for Monday.  Should have stayed away.

McPro Aviar 175g  because they feel great and work for me.  They have durability issues, but I love them.

I would totally be down to do this.  I'll check out those holes you pointed out, Loomis, since you've already done the research and all.  I've had plans to just go out on my own and drive from spot to spit and play object golf. I've seen amazing fairways out there.  I have a portable basket.  If anyone is down to do this, send me a message.
