$7 sounds great!

nobody else on the flying j card had a tag; he left after 14. with the card. had to reel him back in so the rest of could continue our dream rounds.

Kelli had a tag, Mark, and we exchanged them next to 14's basket.  I now hold number 129.

Sorry about the card.  ::)   So glad you guys remembered.   8)

The #1 KCFDC Bag Tag will be in attendance tonight at Swope.

Seriously, someone come take this off my hands.  I promise not to make it easy.

We need a method of of updating potential players of what the current course conditions are like.  Making a ~45min drive out to a course just to lose discs in the fairway stinks.

That was the main reason for my post.  Hit Young instead.

Legacy disc golf course, although open to the public, is currently unplayable.  The grass is way too tall.
During my putting practice today on the basket for hole 8 long, I saw three groups struggle to find their discs after every shot even though they landed safely on the fairway.

I dropped to 972 in July but I didn't post when I was 981 in June.

What's going on here?  Did I miss anything?

Congratulations to the West Team!!!

It was an honor to captain the East on a well fought battle this past weekend.  I made many mistakes, but I learned so much this event does not feel like a loss.  It feels like a huge win.

To all who made their way out and wore the black jersey, thank you so much for your tremendous efforts.

It was so incredibly cool watching the groups tee off.  Watching guys I play disc golf with very often but this time in uniform, sharing the same feeling of unity.  You were all giants in my eyes.

Thank you, Joe Hesting for being a great adversary.  I will always enjoy looking back on this weekend's match selections.

Special thanks to Tracy Ruder and everyone who was involved in making this event what it was.

10 am tee.  Must be there by 9 so we can have a head count of players present by 9:20 am.

We select match-ups at 9:30 am.  If you are late, you don't play that day.

We wish to carry them.

I made a terrible mistake.  I made my bed and I will now lay in it.

Our awesome women will continue to play for the East on my watch.

This years Captains have agreed that the Team Challenge should be class unrestricted. What does that mean?  There will be no age protected slots on the teams. There will be no gender protected slots on the team. Earn your spot on a team via qualifier or convince your captain that you're skilled enough to garner a hand picked spot.

This is the record on page 5.

I voted for no age protected slots.  This is my response to the vote:

Hi Tracy,

I'm sorry for the delay in response.  I am not feeling very well today and wanted to write a better response than what this will be, but I want to do this now and not later.

2.  Team selection will be the same as Dick mentioned he'd do for the West.  My first 5 qualifiers will be the top five scores during the Kan-U-Wyco.  Then I will use leagues to fill the squad, reserving my Captain's pick for special cases.

3.  I am for non-divisional play.  All open.

Again, I'm so sorry to be late and short in this response.  It bothers me that it reads this way :)

I hope your shoulder is feeling much better!

Take care.

Jose Ossa

My error lies in not having accounted for the "women's division" when considering non-divisional play.  My decision was purely based on age and skill level.  Not gender.

Tracy, again, if you made it clear that women were not to be included in the format then I consider it a grievous oversight on my part and for that I apologize.

Tavish Carduff and Amanda Jackson will be competing for the East and we are proud to have them on our roster!
