How many aces do you have now?
I aced #15 at Waterworks League on Thursday! 240 feet with a KC Pro Roc.

That was Ace #4.

So I just realized that the 2nd Qualifier is Monday the 13th, while PDGA League will be at Big Blue Valley that week (for City of Fountains).

Do we really want to make people choose between these?

General Banter / Re: PDGA Ratings Update
« on: March 26, 2015, 10:58:58 pm »
This *shouldn't* happen, as each is a separately registered event.   But who knows, maybe the events are submitted together?  (I don't think it's possible).

It does happen this way. When DD runs these two days events, the results are submitted together. The PDGA knows that they are separate days, but only split them into two if there is a huge discrepancy in the scores versus the ratings (rain one day but dry the other).

Sometimes, that doesn't even happen as it should. Last year's Frostbreaker was a great example, where it snowed an extra 3+ inches on the Pro/Adv day. Somehow, the PDGA didn't see a big enough ratings gap and smushed them together anyways. The ratings for the second day dropped probably 20 points per player.

EDIT: This is what I know from talking to Scott, unless I've misunderstood how he explained it to me (possible). Not revealing trade secrets here, just relaying the information I was given.

General question for the weekend of the event. This would be two rounds each on Saturday and Sunday? One in the morning and one in the afternoon?

Just trying to plan ahead for my work schedule, as I likely won't be able to take off the whole weekend.

Woop woop!

Course is set now-

1. Middle across the creek
2. Long
3. Long on the hill
4. Short
5. Long
6. Long left (Sidewalk right is OB)
7. Middle Left
8. Short
9. Long left
10. Middle Original
11. Middle Original
12. Long
13. Middle Left
14. Short Right
15. Long behind the tree
16. Long
17. Middle
18. Short

If there is significant snow like last year, I'll try to move a handful of pins shorter. If the weather is nice, we might be able to move a few pins short for the 2nd rounds. I have to work on Saturday so someone else would have to do it that day. We'll see.
