So I won't be able to make the last qualifier at WW this week (friend's bachelor party) but I'm happy to be an alternate or fill-in if the KS side needs spots.

Shawnee Mission / League Cancelled Tonight - 4/23/2013
« on: April 23, 2013, 09:06:24 AM »
With the cold and the rain (snow?), I think it's best that we cancel this week and hope for better weather in the future.

5:45 tee again next week, 4/30.

GBO won't make it until the next update, so my rating didn't change.

Seems to be a tougher setting than previous CCs? No?

Not complaining, just pointing that out.

You know it is a tough league when the guy who finished 9th out of 126 advanced golfers at the GBO can only place 10th out of 11 in his own league.  ;D

These courses aren't nearly windy enough for me.

I almost forgot! We start this year with a $548 Ace Fund!

Didn't get hit all of last year, let's see if someone can hit it and get a big pay-day.

Can I ask why we don't use a temporary teepad on top of the hill and throw towards the basket on the peninsula (like when things were under construction).

That way we can still utilize the pin placement on the hill, which is always tough to get close to safely.

Still curious on this. Jamie or Jack?
