Will there be a Final 9 similar to last year? Or is that decided yet?

Interesting swapping 17 and 18 on longest pins.

Can't wait!

I just want to play 12 on the peninsula!

 completely agree!!!!!!!
Yeah. I agree.

And I realize that hole 1 is pretty in the long, but short right is a harder placement. That's my two cents.

I think 1 Long is harder than short right because the upshot only. I've seen tons of people go way long on a 100 foot upshot and up with a silly Bogey. It's much easier to get up and down to the Short Right position.

If you do play down under, Loomis, make sure not to be on the same card as Kolkemeier. He's sure to hit an ace at some point.

Shawnee Mission / League 2013 (For real this time!)
« on: March 26, 2013, 08:53:14 PM »
Now that we're hopefully done with the rain and snow, let's get things started for real next Tuesday (4/2).

- 5:30 tee for now, until sunset continues to get later.
- $5 with ace fund for current KCFDC members.
- $5 + $1 Ace fund for non-members.

Hope to see a lot of you out there and I hope for a good year!

Well, anybody up for playing in the snow tomorrow?

If not, we'll just get started next week (4/2), which is I think when all the other leagues start anyway.

Hole 17, Swope ~ Ace #32 w a Proto Roc III...

Good for about 2 Hungy ~ Bang BANG!!

Heard it but did not see it come in like Blue Sweatshirt did with front row seats.  Contributed to the obligatory "audible ace" pot.  Now you're only 300 or so Aces back from catching Cubby.  Congrats.

Cubby's most recent youtube video says 422 aces, but that was 3 years ago...  ::)

Just talked to Rusco also, he said it is postponed until next Saturday (3/30). Feel free to call DD in Emporia but he said more info would be coming out soon.

I still think it's funny that Crazy (and guys like Climo) have been playing Disc Golf competitively longer than I've been alive.

Haven't received my email yet, but PDGA just put up a bunch of related documents.

Lots of good stuff in there!

ummm... pros?
neither is rudeness my intent. last year 72 played nt, 37 masters plus played nt. hopefully this year will be different. I've been playing disc golf awhile, never had waits like last year.
just asking why it's set up this way, haven't really gotten an answer. only have 20 years of golf left in me, guess I'll play open until the rest of the tour sees the light and starts doing things the kcwo way.

My thought would be that the Open Divisions (Men and Women) have enough registered such that there isn't room on the course for the Age-Protected Pro Divisions as well. But I'm not sure, that's just guessing on my part.

Well given the weather, I think it's best that we hold off until next week. Sorry for the late notice.

Not that I figure many of you were planning on going out to play in the rain anyway.

allow me to rephrase: being fully aware and appreciative that we don't all play at the same speed, rules notwithstanding, please consider scheduling the age rejected pro divisions with those of comparable  playing tempos.

What other division has a similar pace of play?

Not trying to be rude, I'm just curious who you had in mind that would be a more comfortable match.
