General Banter / Re: FIRST RUN?
« on: October 01, 2012, 12:21:24 PM »
Yeah some First runs are more desirable than current runs because of mold variance, but many are the exact same

1st Run Destroyers are very flat and much flippier than current runs, but mostly it doesn't matter.

And I'll be taking my thread back Dan! Thank you very much!

As a general rule, everything goes for 10-15% more on eBay. For whatever reason, $50 discs tend to sell for $65 and so forth.

If you're patient, you can find much better deals on DGCR. Not to say that all discs on there are cheap, not by any means. But if you check their Marketplace regularly, you're bound to find something good.

Shawnee Mission / 9/25/2012 - Last League of the Year!
« on: September 22, 2012, 10:05:58 PM »
Alright folks, the sun is starting to set earlier and that means the end of the league year. Some leagues will be running glow into October and November, but this will be it for us at SMP. And because the sun is setting earlier, we'll tee at 5:30 to make sure we finish in time.

Since it's the last league of the year, we're gonna do some fun stuff to try and mix things up. I'm talking goofy mandos, alternate teepads, stuff like that. You won't want to miss this!

Another thing you wont want to miss is the Ace Fund, now at over $540! Only Wyco has a higher ace fund, and I'm pretty sure we've got waaaay more Ace Runs than WyCo.

So to summarize, this week at Shawnee Mission Park league-
-Mandos and Alternate Tees
-5:30 Tee (Be there as early as possible, we may have to go over some of the rules for the mandos and alternate teepads)
-$540+ Ace Fund

I've got one of those DisCatcher lights, with only one set of chains. Not the best basket for an event like this (lots of spit-outs) but I've got it if you want it.

No I'm pretty sure you can use any Roc (Rancho) or Buzz (non-ss) that you want.

It doesn't have to be the one in the players pack, it can be one you own already. And you only bring that one Roc/Buzzz and a putter.

Erik will correct me if I'm wrong.
