Just carried left into the lake on Hole 7. I saw it really close to the edge of the water, but after failures to retrieve it with a stick, the water was too murky to see it anymore.

Was curious if anyone was planning on fishing the lake before the WO? Or hoping someone will see it right by the edge.

I'd love to play this weekend but my little sister's graduation party is tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll be able to make one of the other dates. I had fun with this last year.

I really hope Swope Gold is set for next week, I'd love to get to practice it at some point.

I was talking to someone about this the other day, who noted that the GBO has more people play (usually) than the KCWO, but I feel like the KCWO is the NT Event and has more prestige.

Not sure why, this is my first year playing either event so I'm not sure.

Someone has to represent that group of Chuckleheads that is the KCFDC....might as well be Cooper.

Rosedale / Re: Course currently set for KCWO?

Another question to Timko and other guys in the know....

Arturo and I were discussing at league this Wednesday, whether or not there would be lined OB on holes with mowed fairways. For example you can look at Hole 1 that has the fairway mowed short, with a huge landing area before the trees.

With that much grass mowed, throwing out of the fairway would be a pretty bad throw, and possibly deserving a penalty stroke. Other holes that stuck out as potential OB-lined holes were #6, #7, and others.

Just a handful of guys out tonight, always odd to have the whole league on one card!

Peter Bures - 51
Connor Mitts - 51
Jeff Ozorkowiecz - 63
Trevor Gruber - 68

Connor won an ESP FLX Drone in CTP, still got more stuff to give away next week!

With 4 people in, Ace pool is up to $439. Gotta get some more people out, the course is set ready to be aced!

Rosedale / Course currently set for KCWO?
« on: May 13, 2012, 11:30:47 pm »
Played Rosedale today to see mostly deep pin settings, including Holes #4, #8, and #17 at their "Par 4" locations. I was told that this was the setting that will be up for the next few weeks, including the KCWO.

Confirmation?

Sounds like you've got a busy few weeks Loomis.

Can't wait to hear/read about it (and see those discs!).

6 guys out tonight (including last years coordinator Brad making his first appearance of the year!  :P)

Open
Steve Timmesch - 48 - $10
Ian Stone - 49 - $8
Peter Bures - 54
Bill Hecht - 55
Danny Knox - 57
Brad Lenheim - 58

Also gave away a Pro-D Buzzz to Danny Knox in the CTP, courtesy of Dynamic Discs.

Ace Fund is up to $435, and is ripe to be hit. The front 9 is fairly short and there are plenty of ace opportunities on the whole course. 6:00 again next week!
