The rain held off and we had 5 guys out for our first league of the year!

Mike Davis - 51 - $10
Danny Rodriguez - 54 - $5
Peter Bures - 55
Brett Boyer - 56
Steve Timmesch - 56

I think we're gonna go with 5:30 tee again next week. I forgot this week but but I've got some discs from Dynamic Discs to give away on a CTP. Since I forgot we'll do 2 prizes next week!

Hope to see you all there!

Great tournament today. Thanks to Dick and everyone else who helped Down Under look amazing.

My scores didn't reflect the fun I had  :P

Now that I'm registered, I'm nearly giddy with excitement.

How many people registered so far? I'm probably gonna try to get signed up this weekend.

Shawnee Mission / 2012 League!
« on: March 20, 2012, 07:02:25 pm »
Starting in April we'll be back to playing league at Shawnee Mission Park! We'll be playing back on Tuesdays again, so our first day will be April 3rd

I'm brand new as Course Coordinator, but I was told that I may be able to get keys to move baskets. I don't know whether that's true or not, but if it is I hope to be able to move a few baskets. I know they've been in their same spots for almost a year now, so I think we could do with moving a handful of them. I know Shawnee Mission is often played by families and beginners, so we can't move anything too deep. But we'll see what we can do.

Do you guys think we'll able to start at 6? Or should we go for 5:30 the first few weeks? If we were playing right now I think 5:30 would be necessary but we've still got a couple of weeks so the sunset is only gonna get later and later.

Thoughts? I hope to see all of you out there!

So...has a "official schedule" been set?  Have people traveling from out of town and wanting to get time off work put in.   Fri-Sat right.......but what courses for divisions and such....couldn't find anything on the KCWO page either.

DD Website has a tentative schedule for day-to-day courses and such.

As long as the storms are short and few, it should be a great day.

Played the Blue Valley short course this weekend and think it will do well on the same day as Blue Springs. Good mix of distance and technicality between the two.

I'm signed up! Didn't sign up for the putting or distance thing, just another way to lose my money lol.

I'll be looking around the next few weeks for people to ride and hotel with.

That's enough of an endorsement for me. They are available at DGW?
