Indeed. If you didn't get 5 back last week ( it was hectic) I'll credit you towards another league.

and are only making money if people opt to receive plastic payout at their store

It could easily be against our terms and agreements of the forum:

"Publicity and/or solicitation for a cause or the promotion of goods and/or services will be monitored closely by the forum administrators who are appointed by the Board of Directors. Generally, if a discussion topic is related to the KCFDC or disc golf (as a project or community), it will usually be allowed. Commercial promotions (specifically for-profit promotions) are discouraged and may be subject to removal."

We built this mechanism to be ambiguous. The fact they're posting payouts, and calling this an event is more than enough indication this could be commercial solicitation. Not to worry folks, we're already on the case and have contacted Mile North about how we can proceed where everyone wins and gets to do their thing. Conversely we do not want to punish those who use the proper channels for event planning ( e.g. DGW or DD)

Thanks everyone!

Cure for your Wide Open hangover folks, see YOU out at OP tonight!

I feel that Chappy called the Adv. @ Rosedale in perfect time. The storm rolled in so quick..

Here are some Tee Assignments for you to devour. Goodnight golfers!

Cheers from your 1:00pm Teetime friends in MA1.

Kenneth, TanK Franks,

A little birdie says they might get posted tonight.

That's what I'm talking about. Ladies and Gentlemen we're 10 hours away from GEP31KCWO. Good luck to all you players out there. Many thanks to the folks that make this event possible. Without our awesome members volunteering countless hours, this event does not happen. You should feel good about this :D East and West, doesn't matter this weekend folks, we're playing for Kansas City.

Get you some.

Old pike to Swope field trip per usual.

Should be a slammin turnout.

Dude, I think I still have my PDGA Stalker. If you have something to trade, cool. If not you can have it man. Throwing black is always impossible to find for me.

Just made contact with Red Bull, they will be out to follow the National Tour and offer free red bulls to players...

We talked about this at a board meeting. Those girls better stay out of the way and recognize Golf etiquette. Other than that, right on!

Hey Jack, did you get my message about upgrading to the Advanced group?

It will be updated in tonights PDGA upload batch

This may be a stupid question, but here it goes;  Do I, as an intermediate participant in this lovely tournament, have to attend the opening ceremony at the Ramada on Thursday night, or can I simply go donate my $5 to WW league?

You can do as you please. I'll be running WW league, so come on out and have a good time.

Advanced does not play until Friday afternoon, therefore I won't be coming into town until then. How should I check in? Where do I pick up players pack and  tournament program?

Tournament programs will be available at the course site and will be posted online for download SOON. Players packs will be available at Swope. Just make sure you get to Blue valley early to check in with your TD.

I'm not sure who to notify but all the sponsor links on the bottom of the KC Wide Open website link to the grip eq page and not to the individual sponsors.

Oops, we're fixing that now.
