Kansas City Northeast League Night-PDGA Style

I'm waiting for some scorage!

I'm sure there's some other folks in here that can answer that better. All I'm looking at are other NT's..

The Vibram Open is the only other NT that offers only Pro Open and Pro Women (In just 1 tournament --- They have another tournament for AMs). I'm guessing it has to do with payout and field size? Entices amateurs to play a C-tier if they cant make the whole weekend of events? Scheduling may be easier?

We seem to always have a big Masters and above field..and we offer Int and Juniors....  good questions, Jack where are you?

My thought would be that the Open Divisions (Men and Women) have enough registered such that there isn't room on the course for the Age-Protected Pro Divisions as well. But I'm not sure, that's just guessing on my part.

That's correct.

Technically, there were three KCWO tournaments last year; The NT, A tier (restricted Pro divisions and advanced) and B tier (all other Am divisions)

Right-o, there will be 3 KCWO's this year too...

You guys already started the PDGA league?

  • Professional Open
  • Professional Women

  • Age Protected Pro
  • Age Protected Pro Women
  • Advanced
  • Advanced Women

  • Intermediate
  • Recreational
  • Novice
  • Juniors

It's up to Jack to finalize the pools/scheduling. I doubt you'll see Age Protected Pro playing with Pro Open. I'm sure Pro Open will fill..

This was actually solicited to the board to have one of these installed at an area course.

There were more than a few concerns with vandalism that were brought up. My biggest issue: I like to touch and feel plastic before I buy it. This machine would just drive me nuts.

It probably works well in a town that doesn't have really really awesome disc golf stores available to the public.... or if you're in dire need of a new Valkyrie at 11pm...

Mile North, PM sent!

Why issue a ticket, how about just stop the citizen from jumping the fence?

Then there has to be a process at city hall where people are employed to take money, Then if you dont pay the ticket you may get a warrant, depending on how serious the "crime" is, blah blah blah. All in all its a big waste of time, in a made up world of importance by the powers who be.

An Excerpt from the book:

Eddie Paris, one of their friends, was searching for his disc in the rough area with two other buddies, Mitt Franks and Max Ellyssen. Mitt and Max, while not exactly the most handsome men in the world, were known throughout the town for...

Hole 13, the "grille" shot, Old Pike CC during league - I jammed a Coyote 245ft for sweet sweet Ace #3!

It must of been my night, cause I also hammered a 180ft Field Ace on hole 2.

Fun stuff! Thanks Neenan, Nelson, and Fenton for witnessing.

Prices are set. We had an issue with online fees, but that's now sorted out. Sorry for the interruption, and good on you for paying attention
