on Original hole 17 - the Mando needs to be moved back 1 tree. This allows a safe shot but still a challenge with risk/reward. the second shot doesnt interfere with 9's fairway or 18's  teepad.

Tired of Water Works yet?  I hope not!

Come on out for an AMAZING round. I know folks work and all, but try and sign up by 5:45, so we can tee by 6. The more people we get the more hectic things are!

I love paying out KC Kash dont get me wrong, but a score of 55, heck even up to 59 shouldn't be considered "intermediate" as usual thanks for coming out, and thanks to eric for running it!

Water Works / 07/10/14 - Water Works League - Nibert's Ace.

Multiple story lines on this night of golf! First of all we had 54 out which is fantastic. A record 7 ladies showed up for the largest women's field we've had out to Water Works this year. CD wins the overall with 47, 'limpy' Dick Parker moans and groans his way to a 49 in Open.

Trumping all the action is Ryan Nibert. He threw his TeeBird right into the chains on 13. The shot looked pure all the way. Congrats! Take home on that bad boy will be $145. Thank Ryan next time you see him since we'll be moving 13 long now :D

We had a Flock of (dirty)Birds, USDGC qualifed Kitz Siebert, Midwest Amateur Champion Frank Weaver, The Great Theodore Keithius, and finally the far-westerner JAT..... crazy night. Thanks for coming out everyone!

The best for organized AM golf would be our Friday Traveling League.  This was last week's thread Look in the "General Banter" section for the next.

Also post on the KCFDC Facebook site, try to stir some excitement. Lastly, If you just visit Rosedale I'm sure you can find someone to play with.

What a night for some scores. Nobody has touched TanK's week three 43 yet, however this week will be the third time a 44 has appeared on the scoresheet. Kitz leads the way tonight, 4 out of the top 5 finishers riding KC Wide Open momentum into this week's league round.

Temps in the 80's with a Southerly wind at start that averaged 11mph.  A great evening to be on the course.

$251 for next week.

A few recommendations from me:

Hole 1: Right Side
Hole 9: Left Side
Hole 15: Long Right (is the pin/lock OK?)
Hole 16: Long

Haven't seen these in awhile, that's my reasoning. Also, big THANKS to you Mr. Mills for keeping league as fresh as possible.
