Who's dumb idea was it to schedule this during the Royals Championship Series?  :)

Yeah, I predict a large drop off in players from Round 1 to Round 2.

I seriously hope a woman qualifies for the Open Flight next year.  I understand Paige would have cashed this year.

Can someone please explain to me why JohnE didn't lay up on the area just off the tee on 17 today?  The caddy book appears to show that area as safe.

Exactly. I've read where Feldberg has talked about this. If you are up by 3 or more, layup hole 17, take your 3. At worst you would lost 1 to someone's birdie but have a 2 stroke lead into 18.

Now in his third Performance Flight, Scott Reek is just one great round away from winning the title. His plan for Saturday is straightforward, “be patient and stay inside the ropes.”

Yeah, that's an early design up top.  We are redesigning the logo to incorporate Grip Eq's logo as a predominate feature.

Cap is 90 total.

No cap on Pros per se.  There is added cash for pros at $10/player that registers and plays with a total cap of added cash at $250 which would be 25 pros.  If 31 pros sign up, added cash is still $250 and would be divided at $8 per person per division.  If 17 pros sign up, then added cash would be $170, $10 per person per division.

For Ams the extra funds are going towards PDGA sanctioning, insurance, etc so not to take away from payouts.

The disc above I think is an Atlas.  It's what my designer found on the web for a blank disc background.  I'm not planning on ordering Atlases.

While discs have not been ordered, Nova was one of the top choices I'm looking at.  Current thoughts (no promises) are:

Gummy champ glow Destroyer
G-star Teebird3
Roc3 (haven't decided on plastic)
Nova - Pro plastic centers
Yeti Pro Aviars
maybe DX Rocs

...the the final sponsor - Grip Equipment.

Still working on flyers, details, etc.  But additional information I can add:

There will be added cash for Pros.  $10/player up to $250 total.  If more than 25 pros enter (which would cap it), the $250 will be split into divisions based on players per division.

Ace Fund will be a Grip Eq Ace Bag Fund.

Cost is $5.  If an Ace is hit, you win an A14 or C14 bag.  If more than 2 aces are hit, those that hit an Ace will have a CTP after 2nd round to play for the 2 bags.  If no aces are hit, all players paid into fund will have a CTP for the two bags with the winner choosing first bag and second getting the other bag.

These bags are combined value of $449.
