Starting Monday, June 2nd, I will be running a PDGA sanctioned league at Lawrence Centennial.  Sign up at 5:45, tee off as soon as cards are done.

There will be four divisions offered:

Pro: $5. $1 PDGA fee, $4 to cash payout

Amateur: $5. $1 PDGA fee, $4 towards payout redeemable at Drop Zone Extreme Sports

Woman: $5. $1 PDGA fee, $4 towards payout redeemable at Drop Zone Extreme Sports

Recreational: $2, No Payout ($1 PDGA, $1 admin costs)

Optional Ace Fund all division $1 additional

League amateur / woman payouts are paid as Lawrence Loot which is redeemable at Drop Zone Extreme Sports located at 811 E. 23rd Street, Lawrence, KS. Drop Zone carries Innova discs, hats, bags and other equipment.  I am not an employee of Drop Zone.  My desire was to find a local retailer in Lawrence to work with using a similar format as the KCFDC league system of pros and amateurs.

PDGA Scores have been updated.

For the five guys that came out the first time last night, check the listing to make sure I have your name, PDGA number and division correct.  The divisions reported to the PDGA do not necessarily need  to correspond to the KCFDC divisions we use for payouts.

3 players with 1000 rated rounds - 1015 to be exact.  Kevin Zane, Jamie Barry, and Jake Bowen all shot a 48.  Jake took the #1 tag, Jamie #2 and I believe Kevin got #8.

It tabulated points.  It's the first column to the left of your name when looking at the event results.

http://www.pdga.com/tour/event/15053

Look at my player statistics for 2013.  I got 48 points from the first session.

http://www.pdga.com/player/51540/stats/2013

Jack - you got 26 points last year from the leagues.

Points can be found here:

http://www.pdga.com/documents/divisions-ratings-points-factors

Leagues are awarded 1/2 points of a C-Tier per evening for each respective divisions.

Quote
Do players earn PDGA points?
Yes. Players will earn PDGA points based on how many players they tied or beat in their division during each week of play.  League points are 1/2 the amount of points of a C-Tier tournament

Posted a color flyer at Centennial last night.

POINT STANDINGS

This is based on PDGA division points and should be pretty close to what you will be rewarded for points at the end of the season.  Points really only count towards PDGA Worlds invitations.

Joe Hesting with a 1007

Nick Altieri has been given the coveted 'Ace' middle name for his accomplishments.

Props to the Andrew Stomps for having all of his rounds above his rating so far.

Face palm to Rob Martin for having all of his rounds below his rating so far (I had an excuse this week at least).

Mina Dennis - I placed you in the MPO for the PDGA portion as this would give you the most points in case you wanted to go to Worlds next year.

At the PDGA Wandering Wednesday league 5/14, Nick Altieri hit hole 8 at WyCo with Kevin Zane and Joe Hesting on his card.

Congratulations Nick!

Ace fund was up to $195 at the time.

Up until now I've been entering the results the same night of leauge. I'm not going to be able to do that any longer.  I promise though they will be up within 48 hours.

Big news last night.....we had an ACE!

Nick Altieri hit hole 8 at WyCo with Kevin Zane and Joe Hesting on his card.  Congratulations Nick!

With 18 players in the Ace Fund, it was up to $195.  I'm not exactly sure how the club pays this out as this is my first time dealing with an Ace, but we'll figure it out
