Legacy Park - Lee's Summit / Re: Grass Problem
« on: May 14, 2013, 09:03:08 PM »
Scott did call me this afternoon & advised they should of mowed it yesterday. When I told him they didn't he said it should be today then. He said they should be mowing the fairways every 2 weeks & was aware they didn't do a very good job last time.  Hopefully this keeps them on top of things but the feeling I got is its just not important to them.

Legacy Park - Lee's Summit / Grass Problem
« on: May 13, 2013, 11:07:19 PM »
So Legacy Park has really been falling behind on mowing the grass. I believe they mowed the course for the first time 2 weeks ago. The rough is 2'-3' tall & the fairways are 1'-3' tall.  They mow some fairways only 20' wide (Hole#5,7,8) . Even if you keep it in the fairways you are still looking for 5-10 min to find your disc & you saw where it went. I saw the lawn company that mows Legacy out there tonight but they only mowed the edge of the walking paths, shelter houses, & playground areas. Lastly on hole 17 I dang near stepped on a snake walking through 3' grass in the fairway. I don't think keeping the grass cut will make snakes go away but at least i would  have a chance of seeing it before i put my hand down to pick up a disc & get bit or something.

My question is does the Club have any pull or weight to say WTH. It was really annoying the whole round having to search for your disc after throw but seeing that snake made me think it is really a pretty big safety risk too.

New bag takes 2 strokes off your game . I actually was doing some stretches before I started & successfully did 2 back bends . First time I ever attempted them! Just getting better with age.

Well I played my first round with my new Grip. Pretty nice bag! I am really going to like having options on bags to carry.

Sounds like Grip is listening to Mr. Parker & making a Grip bag with enough room to store your clothes, bed, bathroom, and other random items.

Gonna be at either Monday league or WW Thursday?

Probably not, may I ask what color Grip you have? I have someone interested who has the regular grey & black one but I really would like to get a special edition camo one.

Thats pretty cool, what colour is it?

I have plenty of room in my GRIP, but I like the looks of the Prodiscus

It is light grey. Good bags are good bags. I'll post a pic here in a sec.

I have a brand new never been used light grey Prodiscus disc golf bag & I am wanting to trade it for a Grip bag. I might try to to a trade on DGCR or something but would prefer to do it local if I can.

Thank you tech team for all the hard work!

Why? Why would you a nonmember of the tech team , a person who isn't on the BoD say thank you? I am confused as to why YOU would feel the need to do so on behalf of a website that you play on? Why should we single this group out, and more importantly why should you do this?

I think so. I splashed it in the pond before ramsam. It had my name and number on it

This one didnt have any info on it. I found it on Jan 5th (date of this original post) & looks like it has found its way into Blue Springs pond.
