Yea. Mighty mo and two crap rounds at kcwo really hurt. When mac, run for roses and derby league get recrded it will change.  Ratings are pretty accurate,  just don't think mine are spot on due to a few rounds recently where I fell apart. Although those are my rounds and show mental mistakes that I have to correct to improve my rating and play.

New rating is 865

Last 15 rated PDGA rounds average out to 875.
Only 4 of 15 below my rating. 2 were bad but not below 800.
Four rounds abouv 900. Two 890+.

I didn't have any 900 rounds last year.

I guess it doesn't matter . . . as long as I know I am getting better.

General Banter / Ratings?
« on: August 16, 2013, 08:06:00 AM »
I am really confused. New ratings out this week.

I have been playing well above my rating most of the summer in several tourneys.
As of Aug. 13 I went down 1 point????

Also they only used 1 round since the last rating????? All the events have had 2 or more rounds . . . ???

Very confused.

The tourney position for hole 1 at Bird will be the long pin. (where it's been since opening).

If I have time and am able to, I will be installing a super short 4, a long 6, and a long 18, and if in, chances are those will be used for the OSO.

I like the course as is.
4 is a great hole. A short pin might be fun (ace run?)
6 long? tough distance already, especially for right hand back hand throwers.
And 18 is a tough challenge already. Got to hit a small hole at the right angle far away.
I would understand a longer 6 and 18 for an A tier or NT. Using long settings for the Pro divisions . . .

Just my opinion. And I am still new to the sport, so my opinion is based on limited experience.

Looks like Atchison gets the vote. Time? Usually 1pm.  I'm thinking 12noon or 11am.

What's your opinion?

have groups of 10 or more weight and be staggered together so that they are all is one big group . . . because the large groups are fun to listen to and I didn't mean to come off as a complete jerk

So fat people have to be staggered? And all fat people are fun?? yea Jack maybe you are a complete jerk. LOL.

Just playin with you. I love it when people on the interwebs use the wrong words. There funny.

Where shall we play?

Suggestions so far: Birdland Olathe Lake, Prairie Center (Old Settler's is next local tourney).

Road trip: Lawrence Centenial, Lake Perry, Atchison, Wichita

Another east side course: William Yates ???

Where do you want to play?

Well said, Rob and Andy. 3 rounds, two days, and some opportunity to get together with all divisions. It is a "championship" afterall.
