I won't be able to make it since I am taking off tomorrow morning to watch the boy while my wife goes to the dentist but would have loved to have come out to show my sympathy and support to Nicks family and friends. I will see if Chris might be able to sneak out of work for this to represent the Portwood contingent. I agree that a more permanent memorial should be placed in the park for the Moeder family. Perhaps the club can have a fund raising event to help with the memorial expenses? Just a thought.

I cant believe that the power company didn't take any action to cut power to the line. Especially in a public park. I know that both the police and KCPL were called about it. Truly sad that such a terrible thing happened.
