Weather is looking better for this weekend.  Pads are clear and I am picking up the Players Packs today.  If you are planning on playing, please pre register to help me move the event along faster.

Players Packs can be picked up at Dynamic Discs Kansas City on Friday (tomorrow).

For those newer to playing in the snow during tournament, it is not much different.  If you are nervous about losing a disc, you can also have a spotter from the back of your card spot.  Although I don't mind the special circumstance for this event, I will say it is not normal.  All the years I ran events in WI, there was never any mention of ribbons and they play all winter with 2-3 times more snow on average.

I am not criticizing anyone, I just want players to know it is not that rough playing in snow.  It will be colder and you might have a few more standstill shots, pay more attention to your shots as a group but play is the same.

The tournament is not getting postponed.  It is just snow and no reason to change the event date.  I have special permission from the PDGA to allow ribbon or LED lights during the event.

It's Frostbreaker Week!!!  There is some snow coming during the week, which I'll do my best to make sure the pads are cleared.   I know there are some people waiting until the event, but please pre - register if you are planning on playing so I can get as much done as possible.   This will make for a quicker and smoother event.

What disc are we getting?

I am not sure yet.  As of now I am leaning towards getting the Lucid Truth and Lucid Verdict, possibly getting one more discs to be decided.

Currently over 80 for the entire weekend.  I am going out there today to check out conditions and make sure everything is in place.  Hoodies have been ordered and Hot Stamp has been ordered.

on Friday Feb 7th, you will be able to come to DDKC and pick up your players packs prior to the event if you want too.

Heritage Park has been getting cut as of last year, the budget and funds have been approved and just waiting on spring to get the forestry mowers in there to help with some removal.  I am hoping for an April or May opening but it depends on the parks department.
