I agree it was a lot less exciting and most everyone i saw was playing safe even if they were going for the opening. I think people could play more agressive before going over the top which made it more exciting to see the Ace Runs.
I think it forced you to be good and confident at the straight shot. I still saw plenty of hyzers and overhand shots, they just where not going over the top. Many people played safe and just landed near the opening. I think it takes a lot more skill to hit that gap than to just throw over the top.
I am not sure I liked the new triple mando either, but it was a lot harder.
I am sorry to say the Double Ogg Dare Festival has been canceled due to lightning. For the safety of the players, the disc golf portion has also been canceled. If you are registered, I will get you a full refund. Again my apologies. Contact me if you have any questions.
Double Ogg Dare is this coming Saturday from 8:30 till 11:30. You can register onsite, Dynamic Discs Kansas City or www.dynamicdiscs.com. This should be a fun day associated with a great family festival in Johnson County.
I am unable to run league tonight and was unable to find someone else to run it so last week I announced that last week was the last week for the season. There will not be a league tonight at rosedale.
Thanks for all the support and those who attended league during this 2013 season.
