I want to thank the 79 players who came out to Rosedale today.  Although it was hot, not as hot as it could have been.   Matt will have the results posted in the morning.

We received an overwhelming posititve response and have scheduled the next 1 Rounder on August 5th at Waterworks from 9-6.  Any suggestions on how to improve would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Scott Reek

You can make BT and BC in 2.5 hours but I doubt it on the big course. I played Woodhenge yesterday by myself in about 2 hours. Man I love that course!!

General Banter / Re: Directions to Kearney Course?

I played there Wednesday and the course is looking good although a new rule needs to be added to the nice signs. Rule #1: STAY IN THE FAIRWAY!!!! I did get a three on 17. Double Bubble to about 25 feet.

Young Park - Blue Springs / Re: League 6/13/12

who won the playoff in masters?

After an epic 27 hole playoff we were still tied so we flipped a coin. It landed on it's edge three times in a row so we split the cash.

I do not disagree with an earlier time as it does make it easier for dealing with the heat and getting completed with the event earlier so players can have some time to do other things but I hear more about starting the event at a later time so people do not have to get up as early.

Again I personally like earlier times but as a TD i also like to cater to my players and I have heard more about later start times than earlier start times.  That is why my events start when they do.  I am taking all of the comments into consideration and I have already been talking about a few changes to some of the DD events.  This event will remain as it is but future events will be adjusted accordingly.

Thanks to all of the players that came out and to all of the people who made this event possible.  I was proud to bring back the Mighty Mo and it will be back again next year.  I think overall the event was good but I did learn a few things as well which will make all of my events in the future better.
