And then there are those who put the time in and don't post about it all the time.

There will not be a league July 4 at P Hill. Everyone should enjoy this holiday with family, friends, and explosives. There are several rounds going on there during the day. I know of at least one at 9:30. See you all next week.

General Banter / Road trip

So my family and I took a road trip this week. The agreement was I would only play three times. First course was Moab Utah. I highly recommend this course!  Decent layout and very good tee signs. Only down side was about half the holes were blind shots, a spotter would be huge here. Side note, don't use soft plastic such as wizards, voodoo, judges. When you hit a cactus, and you will, it takes forever to get all the needles out.
Next I played Page AZ. Don't waste your time going here!!  No pads, no tee signs, no numbers on baskets. The only way to tell where to tee off from is a white circle painted on a rock, problem is its the desert, there are thousands of rocks. So I pretty much had to make up my own course. Oh and they painted the baskets to stand out, good idea except they painted the chains too, bad idea. Course has huge potential, I'm guessing they either don't have the funds or knowledge of the game.
Lastly I played Alamosa CO.. Love this course, not long but Definitly technical with all the trees and dead fall, very well layed out!! I believe the locals must take great care of this course, every pad had a broom to clear off the sand. I was pleased with my 48 while looking for mountain lions to attack, there was a sign warning of it and how to fend off one. Great trip, can't wait till Oct for my next one down to New Orleans.

I'm curious..... What is so top secret that we need to keep out non club members?  As a member I have yet to see anything on this forum that would warrent limitations of access. No wait how about we keep all the complaining and negativity to club members only that way the new players won't see it till it is too late. By then the club will have their money. Oh and my two cents, public courses can be played by any of the public, wether someone likes a privately owned business or not.

It was a bit on the breezy side, even more than usual.
Scott-91 (first round of disc golf)

Bobby won the CTP and claimed a Roc donated by Milenorth, he then turned around and gave that to Scott to be his first disc to own. That's just good people there!

East side new players league is on for tonight.

My card was on hole 8 and had no chance in hell of making it back dry when it was called. But then again I didn't care, just part of the experience. Great event, thanks to everybody who put on the event and volunteered.

Adv division are the only scores not in yet. What's the deal?  I want to find out if I came in last or second to last.

So I got a question. I walked most of swope today and noticed hole 10 is an island. Is there no drop zone? If not do we just empty our bag till we reach it?  And then if I run out of discs what is the procedure at that point?

I agree with Tank, all the advanced players should play up. That way all of us intermediates that are playing advanced have a shot at finishing in the top 50. I just wanted to play all the courses, I know my roll in advanced........clean up.

That or the fastest rounds recorded at the KCWO.

I second that. I've seen his work and its real good!  His name is Frank, but that's all I got.

I agree with you to an extent Dick. The bigger issue I have really doesn't involve MileNorth. It's the constant complaining, b#%ching, and other childlike behavior on the forum. When I first got on here I thought it would be about disc golf and info of things going on. I'd say its more 50% disc golf and 50% negativity that isn't necessary at all. I had a new player ask me "is the forum always like that?"  Sadly it is and our first impressions aren't positive. I don't expect anything to change and more than likely someone will prove me right and bash me for only wanting better for the club and the forum.
