The round started with lots of clouds and no rain. At the end of the round we had sunshine with rain. Double rainbows and lots of mushrooms were seen(no relation between the two).

This Thursday is the first night of New Players League at Pleasant Hill. Tee off at 545, be there by 530 to get on a card. This a free league, a good way to learn the ins and outs of the sport. There will be a weekly CTP for platic this year also.

I also run a New Players League on thurs nights at P Hill. Probably start at 530 for a few weeks then move it up to 6 o'clock once daylight is good.

General Banter / Pdga ratings, I don't get it.
« on: March 17, 2014, 06:00:23 PM »
Apparently I need some edumacation when it comes to ratings, and I'm sure there are several of you who can help.  Before the frostbreaker my rating was 883.  Then I shot a 930 and a 931 rounds. As of today the round ratings were changed to 908 and 917.  And my 883 stayed the same. In my head this math doesn't compute.

OP Mike that sucks you've had problems with vandalism. I hesitate to pay $50 for a membership because I would then have to convince all the guys I play with to also become members and as you probably already know most people just aren't willing to do that. Also since I live south of lees summit it's a bit of a drive to play enough rounds to warrent the fee. On the other hand it could bring more people and cash to the course if those who could only play it 2-5 times a year could donate $5 to play. I'm probably repeating things you already know but I would be bummed knowing my friends and I can't play that kick ass course.
