Yep you are right Doug, that's how I try and do the cards. :) I play on different cards almost every week just for that reason.  :) apparently Steve is too busy talking about how tourny players packs should be different to notice who's on what card.  :)  There are also people that always play together for certain reasons.  :)

Since it is easy for people to miss read wording on here I thought I would add a  :) after every sentence so nobody would think I am mad......cause I am not. That is all.  :)

There are varying views on new players leagues. Some would say let new players pay the $5-$6 and consider it a paid for lesson. Others appreciate the opportunity to learn the game and not spend money doing it. Understand that if it is a regular league you will be paying the $5-$6 every week you play. Another alternative is next year have an additional league at the course on a different night, say Monday, then you could had your ace fund.

Considering some of the regulars we have I could call it mixed UP players league.  ;D

Still getting new players coming to league, even had some retired and new board members come out.  In the end it was a lefty that destroyed the course.

I get no enjoyment from reading about people complaining. I don't think it was a personal attack. It would be ignorant attack some one for doing something you have never done. Like I said if you feel there were a bunch of rude people barking orders running the rope, give it a shot next year. The club is always looking for people to help out.

I have great news for you Anthony. You have close to a year to assemble your volunteer group to run the rope line. The pay is not great and trying to keep people who either have no idea where to stand, when not to move around while someone is putting or just being loud at the wrong moment is a full time job. Oh and the dirty looks and rude comments directed towards you will make you appreciate your time versus actually getting to watch the pros. The interesting thing is of the 6-8 rope volunteers there were 2 club vp's, 1 league director and at least 1 CC, all of which or pretty laid back good guys. So no power trips there. Just guys doing what is needed to help keep the pros wanting to come back. But as usual you just can't make everyone happy.
