Tournaments / Re: 2014 Roc vs. Buzzz at Swope Park on September 28th
« on: September 22, 2014, 03:05:07 pm »
Remembering the fallout from the scoring misunderstanding last year, can we go ahead and say how the team scoring is determined?

Is is the average total score from each team? Minus the top and bottom scores?

Is it the top x scores from one team against the top X scores from the other? (If there are different numbers on each team)

Can I use a Buzzz, Buzz SS and a Buzzz OS? Pretty sure I can, but it doesn't hurt to be sure.

Ring of fire? - Only Buzzz or Rocs?

Flyer says Ace fund included @ $2 per entry. Does this mean its included in our entry fee? Or included in the event so bring $2?

Sorry for all the questions but its better to get them answered here than take up time at the players meeting.

How it works usually is you sign up for the Roc or Buzzz team and use only Rocs or only Buzzzes depending on which team you signed up for.

You can use however many different Buzzzes or Rocs you have and I assume with the addition of the Buzzz OS, it will be allowed this year.

From there,  the scoring is just like any other tournament.

Scott, I've got a metal Costco basket you can use for the race. I just don't know if I can play...

In case anyone is wondering, it has been reinforced by welding the seams, and it has a second set of chains added to make it catch like a chainstar.

Who else has baskets?

Let's do up and down at Rosedale!!!  I would be able to make the 1PM round...

No worries Jack, I figured that would be the case. It's going to be better to just use some of the other fine courses we are so lucky to have here.

Will everyone be playing the same course each day?

Or will 1/2 the field play Rosie Saturday then WW Sunday, while the other 1/2 plays vice-versa?

I will not be able to make the tournament since all my brothers will be in town, but we DO want to play some DG together.

We will probably play some of the other courses in town, especially if its muddy at all, but I was just wondering...
