Cool, sorry for the late reply. I think I can make 10 (be there about 9:30). Got to get up and cut holes in the roof, but it shouldnt take to long and "getting up" in my house with 2 kids means 6am (and thats sleeping in from my normal 4:15am wake up to go to work).

Found and Lost / Lost - Tye Dye TeeBird
« on: June 07, 2013, 04:49:23 PM »
I was playing With Harold and the boys this morning at Rosy. I believe it was #9 in long position. I grip locked it to the right, threw a nice reverse spike right at the edge of the woods next to the basket, and it was gone. I walked all of that treacherous hill from the top to the DU hole and I couldnt find it. Name and Number are on it, but if you find it and feel that you want to keep it thats cool too.

I lost to Greg in a play off hole and he gave me that Nasty #267 so I will be there at Rosedale this Friday to dump it on someone else. What time is tee off?

ok two Items then im done.

1: how about contacting the local scrap yards and faxing over or emailing a picture, give them a $100 reward for their purchase of it and notification to police.

2: how about a tracking device inside/incorperated into the basket. Yes i imagine that it would be expensive for ALL the baskets, but lets be honest... it is usually a certain basket that is easy to steal like the Practice Basket on Lakeside. So 1 device on 1 basket on each course that is prone to theft. If the battery lasts 2 years on a new basket, I think by the time that expired, the basket has reached a good age of maturity anyway. If it is stolen just reup the contract and put a new tracker on it until we know the location isnt a high theft area. Hard to have nice things but good to protect them. (or do what we did at my golf course and have the police install a motion sensor camera next to the road so that if someone walks up it starts recording, pretty handy at catching vandals as well as theives).

Well if anger was anyone's guess, i'd check the lake to see if someone tossed it in... I assume it was stolen with a pickup and bolt cutters, they just happened to either toss or keep the lock. There is a master set of keys for all masterlock padlocks, but I would think that would have taken too much time to find the right key. Oh well, hope they get caught and arrested whomever they are.

Hi there! Do you have a man crush...or a lady crush...or a lady man crush on the Judge? Great! I will buy all your Wizards! Looking for 10ish Wizards on the cheapish. I like the putter and I have a practice basket that I need to quit throwing random discs at and actually practice with the same putter I have. I would prefer they were not overly molested against the chains. A ding here and some dirt rubbed on there is ok. Newish is great as well, just want them in bulk. So you Loomi of the disc hording world let me know if you have more than 5 to sell and lets make a deal! (no actual Wizards were harmed in the making of this post)

By chance will there ever be the possibility to purchase a lifetime membership? Im sure thats hard to adjust with inflation and all but I was kind of thinking on the same lines as a fishing license.

and although im not a very good disc golfer, when i was playing ball golf several days a week i realized that I would make the same mistakes over and over. Take a pencil and a small pad of paper with you and analyze each shot or hole. You might have had great success on playing a hole a certain way, but what if the wind or other conditions are different? Is there another way or angle? This also makes you slow down and think about the whole hole. I assume that if your throwing 4-6 times a week that 50% are solo rounds and I know that my solo rounds are my best and worst. Best because i don't see someone else throw a way that might change my mind, and worse because of not taking my time and paying attention to the landscape. Plus im pretty sure that if you start taking notes, you will be able to carry them and read them during your tournament rounds (not 100% but its allowed in ball golf so its my assumption).
