Hinck is right. He lucked out and won his match. And while the east side shines the light on "win," it's undenialable that the key phrase is "lucked out."
I would propose that when the thieves are caught, their names are made known to the KCFDC membership, and they are banned from any KCFDC league or event for life. I believe the PDGA disciplinary folks could be persuaded to also ban them from participating in any PDGA events for a period of time as well. I doubt the low- lifes that stole our basket(s) care about any of this, but maybe?

The things that I find interesting about this matter is the newness of the course and the suspected means by which it was removed from its location. The location itself is fairly obvious and with all of the precipitation was there any indication of a disturbed area, footprints, digging, etc.? Then the recent blacklisting of the website with Google also sparks some curiosity.
Something about the speculation around that lock being picked just does not add up to me.
One good mid-grade saw and one sharp chain will cut out a line in a few hours.

It does though beg the question though how come a church can get 100 people to the park to help, and we are having trouble getting 5......
P.S. - Just to poke at Jack and Mike..this thread is about to break 6 times as many views as the work day thread has....not really something to joke about though I guess.
