I guess I spoke too soon, no fires at the park.

No fires that you can stand around and enjoy, anyway. ;)

Careful Rob, there's a few admitted dime droppers on this site and also one guy in particular who has dialed 911 over far less important matters. ;D

I guess the thing about the drinks was the only thing I noticed. If not for having to work in the afternoon, the beer would've been just fine, though. ;D

Great job by all involved, I had a blast! 8)

We had a productive afternoon today. We walked L5 and cleaned up the trees while looking for the long pin placement (never found it), We cleared honeysuckle/trimmed the tree shoots/vines from the fairway trees on L9. We opened up the tree barrier and cleared a lot of honeysuckle at S13. Thanks to Ben, Adam, and his, out of town, friend Bobby for all the work today. 8 man hours total.

Way to go, y'all. 8)

FYI, #5's other placement is in that thick stuff on the right side when you're looking down the fairway from the tee. Probably farther down the fairway than you might think. I don't remember ever seeing that area cleared so that the long pin could be used.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this thread. :)

Quality entertainment!

Completely agree. If nothing else I learned to use thye quote button.

FWIW, I thought the thread had potential and could not stand aside idly and allow it to just be 6 posts basically telling the OP he should have known better.

Non-payment of fees does have a victim - everyone else.  It reduces tax money for the system that benefits all people.

Again, that's not addressing the root problem. When the mafia doesn't get their monthly vigs from one person, they may decide to turn the screws on someone else. Doesn't make it that first person's fault at all.

By the way, I am far from a Statist, I gladly break the law and defy authority daily.

Ya know, I kinda figured that, given the forum here. Which makes your cheerleading of the State that much more despicable. I'm sure, however, that your breaking of the law and defiance of authority is just as victimless as the OP's. So I ask, what do you think "SHOULD" happen to others who break the law and/or defy authority in the exact same fashion as you? Judgmental much?
those kinda people should become puppets of big corporations that need the state to bail them out so they can continue to churn out products that harm trees, children, and cuddly puppies worlwide.

Mark, why not worry about the fact that your money is being stolen from you in first place, rather than worry about what's done with your stolen money after the fact?

I agree that the prudent thing to do is to keep your tags current in order to avoid such transgressions on the part of our benevolent authorities. However, I take issue with statements such as the one above, stating that a person with expired tags "should have" their car towed. Why? Because it's missing a f*cking sticker? No one was hurt, no one was unfairly deprived of property, and no property was damaged, (READ: NO VICTIM ANYWHERE, WHATSOEVER) and yet Statist a-holes get their jollies when the State comes in and takes a part of someone's livelihood to hold it hostage until said State has received their vigs. What a f*cking joke.
