No, just flip your disc over or use a different disc to mark your lie, no one will care and if they do, tell 'em to go kick rocks. :D

Yep, it's worth a few dollars to meet other players and become familiar with the nuances of "organized" play.

You ought to go to Swope league tonight. You'll meet all kinds of good folks and it's only $5 to play, $6 if you're not a club member. The fun starts at 6pm.

My neighbor, a WWII vet and GM retiree, told me he and his wife used to go to Kessler Park in the 1940s and "park". It was like a Lovers' Lane back in the day.

Worlds '09 prompted a lot of work as well. This is great stuff, can't believe all the changes!

Man, that sucks. Blue Springs is also where a rifle of mine was stolen from a friend's truck while we were inside Ace Hardware. You know that scene in The Big Lebowski where the cops tell The Dude "I wouldn't hold out much hope for the tape deck." "...Or the Credence."? Well, that's pretty much the way it went down when they took my statement about the rifle. They even had the perp's vehicle and license plate on video and I still haven't seen my rifle nor has anyone been charged for the crime in the 2 years since.

Bad things can happen anywhere. (Although I too have never had any problems at Cliff Drive, just sayin'. ;D)

Thanks to Vince, Eric, Matt and Nick for showing up and helping us beautify the stage area for LDO. It looks absolutely phenomenal along the #7-#8 corridor. Keeping fingers crossed for more concrete to complete the stage, but with or without, it's gonna be so sweet come LDO. I am so proud of all the work that has been done and I hope everyone enjoys it immensely. Jack, Penny, Dick, John, Josh, Happy, Arturo, Glover, Soup, Soup's GF, Vince, Eric, Matt, and Nick, you guys F'n rock! ;D

Anyone free this morning and down for a round at Water Works? I'll be there at 11 to get some throwing in before work this afternoon if anyone cares to join.

I just work in warranty and studied terms of use during PC hardware and networking classes. Anyone who has jailbroken or unlocked an ipod/iphone knows about bricking devices.

Yeah, but you're not exactly tied to anyone's services when you purchase a disc golf bag. It doesn't need system updates and there are no warranty/repair plans that I'm aware of. This is funny stuff, though, so keep it coming. ;D

I know we expect altruism, but what is the incentive?  Could we do a discount for next league?  Just a thought....

In this particular case, the incentive would be... (and this is totally gonna blow you away so get ready)

...not having to look at an overflowing trash can. Take a moment and visualize that, if you would. :)

I was referring to Tracy's general statement that once you purchase something you can do whatever you want with it.

But we're talking about Grip bags... Anyway, I modified my statement to be specific about disc golf bags.  Is there a warranty offered on the Grip bag?  Do purchasers of a Grip bag have to sign a Terms of Use contract?

Could we be seeing the effects on the younger generation of the endless sea of policies, rules, regulations, laws, ordinances, etc? It's almost as if there's a need or inner urge to be in compliance before any action is performed, their every move, their very existence mapped and plotted by some imaginary higher authority. Fascinating.

air shot or roller?

It was an anny thrown about as high as could be. It was still in the air when it went out of sight and headed down the alley.
